Alexandre Galvez I’ve been trying him out in a list with Start Student Stelina and Kayn Sunfury for a final bit of reach against taunts. Loatheb isn’t awful! Sure he can be expensive depending on the situation, but a lot of the time I have found him to be a follow up wave once the opponent has awkwardly removed Wraiths and Weblords, giving me a turn to Double Jump into Glide or Stelina to wreck their hand. Not saying Loatheb is a must include, but I’ve been using him more than I thought.

How to fix the rope: My suggestion would be having a set turn timer that's slightly lower amount of time we uave currently implemented but the rope being longer when needed. Say the more you use/abuse the rope the more you have to allow it time to recharge. Maybe its an extra 30 second pool of time on top of turn timer but if you use 20 of it last turn deciding what to do you'll only have an extra 10 seconds on top of your normal turn timer this turn and it could maybe recharge for the next turn depending on how little of it you use the current turn. Seems like a decent fix against those who rope every turn but I'm sure they would still find a way to bm.

I think the turn timer debate just shows that we need more formats. Having different time controls would give more variety to decks and gameplay.

huge huge fan of the concise and clear explaination of the deck and what it's trying to do. In the past you have brushed off twitch commenters' suggestions as "thats not what this deck is trying to do" and often it's clear what you mean but sometimes it's really really not and some of those plays you take "doing what the deck is trying to do" instead of the more direct path ends up either costing a far earlier lethal or the game and, sometimes, a funny play. It's really helps someone like me who have watched the game for years but are never really interested in more than that enjoy the content and other big hearthstone streamers seem to recognize my mindset as the bulk of the viewers.

It's true that some plays might get set up lethal but often times, those plays are considered all-in for certain decks. If it fails, you lose the game and some decks don't have to play so risky to win. If players aren't going down a certain line, it's probably because of something. Roffle does a decent job explaining these things though.

I think it’s because lifesteal heals after damage is dealt. Howlfiend discards a card whenever it’s damaged. So Howlfiend is damaged by eye beam and discards a card then the lifesteal happens.

One solution to roping players and long turns is setting the timer really low, but whenever you take an action it resets. The only problem I see with that is infinite combos, but I don't think is such a big problem. What do you think??

Hey roffle, don't you think they could do hearthstone like a chess match, such as giving each opponent a certain amount of time to work with. If you end up using up all your time or when you're really low it can be set back to standard or reduced rope timing. That way even if players abuse their extra time it only affects them negatively.

One of the goals of the deck is to make your opponent's stuff cost way too much and when they finally play a minion, you kill it with a cheap targeted removal. It's an aggro deck with active control tools and the asymmetry of mana is often gamewinning. Enjoy!

How exactly does forcing them to redraw their hand help? Chances are they’ve played their low mana cost stuff, and have high mana cost stuff left in their hand. Giving them a new hand will likely give them 1 or 2 more low mana cards whic they can cast?

If they have 5-8 cards in hard, redrawing them 4 cards means they have fewer cards in hand.

Like he said below, the opponent is likely to skip a few turns due to the mana increase. That means they will have a lot of cards in hand which means that redrawing their cards reduces them to only 5 possible plays and some are likely to be unplayable

personally I have ALOT of fun with a deathrattle based hunter deck that is a aggro midrange hybrid. I also got a discard warlock deck which really packs a punch if it plays on curve and don't discard the wrong cards. PLanning around the discard makes it way more fun than the classic 1-2-3 punch aggro decks.
