Loved the test but I really think you guys should review Q15 and Q18. On Q15....Hope is more substantive than an emotion or as a verb, it would be more akin to I wish. Then on Q18....the answer should be 2. The eight ball is 4, the eye is 6, and the diamond is also 4.

It made it more difficult to get some of the more complex puzzles. I got a couple of those wrong (for lack of time). These questions might be on a real IQ test but with more time than 7 seconds to figure out.

Im fairly certain the last one is not B, as the triangles are continously moving the same way, for the bottom one that would be moving to the right, B's bottom is further to the left than the first figure. The part that is missing from the dress must be equal to the price of the belt, see the dress price is 720+price of the belt, we know that the total price is 830 so we do 830-720=110 . Quite simply... question 13 is not a valid IQ question. There are many different possible answers, because no rule is given to guide us in one way or another. There is no reason to assume that the 4 arbitrary numbers of the two different squares should have the same sum. The 4 SIDES of a square should be equal, and therefore you could make assumptions based on the sum of the sides... but that does not apply to arbitrary numbers assigned to the corners.

I was stumped at question 13 because there was no way through pattern recognition you could say that the second square was also meant to add up to 17, since there was only one other square. For 15 I went with hope because it was the only word without the -ness suffix. That answer is purely subjective. Question 18 is literally 2. 12 / 3 = 4 so the eight ball is 4. (16 - 4) / 2 = 6 so the eye is 6. (28 - 4) / 6 = 4 so the diamond is 4. 4 - 6 + 4 = 2. I got 5 wrong.

another explination for Q19 is to split the two digit numbers, add them togheter and then put the added number in between the two you split. Like the first which is 15, 1 and five makes 6, so the new number will be 165. This works with them all. Next one, 297. 2+7 is 9 so the three digit number will then be 297 and so on. Many said about the 19th question, however there should also be a look at the 20th. There is a pattern in fact, just look up. It's going from right to left, which is the opposite of the option B. The most accurate answer would be option C. Also, every other does follow the same pattern, just in different directions. I got 20 out of 20, which is 2 more than the question setter. Agree with everyone who says the answer to Q18 is obviously 2. Also the answer to Q20 is C. The answer given, B, would represent a stage immediately prior to the given sequence. This is the first Bright Side post I have looked at in years: unsurprised to see it continues to fail to live up to its name.

Q17, We can immediately cross off C from the board it's obvious it's not allowing us to give an answer that is by itself a decision, So "Some men are kings." would mean that not all men are in fact kings so excluding the further statement/answer a, "All kings are men." And so is the second statement and the one that follows since if all kings have golden crowns then it would be referring to all men which was already proven to be false so it would mean both B and E would be incorrect leaving only D to be the correct answer

Fun quiz, although a possible answer for question 15 is hope, it is the only word that isn't necessarily a noun, q18 is (without doubt) 2 and not 6 (as explained by many others), and q 20 is not b at all, not really c either but it's the best fit. The quiz is quite easy and an 18-20 should not at all mean genius, even 20/20 (except if you call the ~95th percentile genius?). I must say for some questions there are also some other, more out of the box solutions. Thinking out of the box is actually a big part of being highly gifted so having another answer is actually going to be better (as long as the reasoning is right :) )

The 18th question answer is wrong it is actually 2 not 6. Here is how The eyeball is representing number 6 and the ball with the number 8 in it is representing number 4 and the diamond is also representing number 4 thus in the first one 6 + 4 + 6 is equal to 16 second one 4 + 4 + 4 is equal to 12 in third one 4 x 6+ 4 is equal to 28 and the fourth one 4 - 6 + 4 is equal to 2 If we do in the BODMAS rule it is 4 + 4 - 6 which is 8 and without BODMAS 4 - 6 + 4 is also because 4 - 6 is -2 and -2 + 4 is 2 there is a wrong way in doing BODMAS rule is that when they add they added 6 + 4 1st and they DID 4 - 10 in that way they get - 6 still that is wrong and minus 6 is not equal to 6 so the correct answer is actually 2.
