Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

Scrapman the Aethersprite is more commonly know as the Jedi Starfighter. It's not an aircraft, it's a spacecraft, and it wasn't big enough to have its own hyperdrive so it uses the ring. :)

Aethersprite Fighters are from Star Wars. They are the Jedi Star Fighter, since they are so over-responsive that you basically have to use Force-Enhanced reaction times and Combat Precognition to effectively fly them. The hyperspace docking ring is basically a hyperspace engine (really low-class crappy one, too) that connects to the fighter so it can go to other systems.

For the spiral effect on the helicopter blades, could you do a quadcopter or dual blade copter, and have the blades spin at low speed, so you can see the effect? I would think with stacked blades like that, you could spin them more slowly and still generate enough lift. No super familiar with TrailMakers' logic, but I'd imagine you could use that to create the offset for the spiral effect. OOO! Side note thanks to the monowheel! They need to add in rubber blocks (preferably rounded with different radius) so that we have something a little more impact resistant, but that also provides traction, for projects just like this where a custom wheel is the only choice.

For the F1 car, lowering the steering angle will help. What is supposed to happen is that it is going to catch grip and with a lower steering angle, it will be easier, plus, if you look at an F1 car's steering, the inner wheel during a turn will turn sharper, than the other one, which is why he spun out a lot. Lowering both steering angles will reduce some of that spin, and it will make it much more drivable.

Wing backwards was better just because elevation was set on wings , when it was forward both ailerons and elevators were counter acting each other , when wings got swept back the ailerons did not counter the elevators but pushed in same direction. That is why planes don't use elevation on wings and have only flaps that increase the surface area of the wing helping the plane be able to fly at slower speeds

The ring around the Jedi fighter (Star Wars) at 7:50 is ment to get the fighter into hyperspace all by itself. Without it you would need to get back and dock at a cruiser, but with it you can travel by yourself.

The plane you are where flying with the ring is a Jedi Star Fighter. The hypderdrive was integrated into the ring as a separate unit because it was a to small of a starfighter to have an internal one.

(Not creator) the AetherSprite’s ring is a booster. Think of it as the detachable side-booster rockets on you everyday space-shuttle setup. Also, I’ve noticed quite or few of those creations, especially the “floppy” hover-flyer (tilting seat) were built with first-person in mind.

Funnily enough I think that thought lead me to discover most of them, such as Interstellar Rift. Regarding what I think you're talking about (Starfield?), they don't feature ship building in the way that would be required such as Interstellar Rift has.

Hey Scrapman, I have an idea for the next Multiplayer Monday: Car Jousting! You can do this with three or four players. Each player will face each of the others once. And the player who wins the most matches, is the winner. Here are the rules: each player is to build a vehicle carrying a dummy with a lance and shield on top. You will drive past each other full speed, like actual jousting. If your dummy’s lance hits the other, you get a point. The match ends when one dummy is destroyed. The player whose dummy is still intact, wins. As I said before, you will face each other player once. Hope you guys like my great idea. Like so Scrapman can see.

The ring on the plane is a theoretical "Warp Drive". Where everything outside of that "bubble" is moving at 10% the speed of light or more and everything inside staying the same. Where essentially the bubble acts as a mass large enough that is able to bend space time leaving what's left on the inside the same allowing, this allows them to travel at the speed of light while still having mass. Because anything weighing more than a photon is not able to travel at the speed of light or even relatively close. So that bubble/ring bends space time allowing an object with mass to travel at those speeds. Again it's just a theory, but it makes sense. Edit: That's kind of a dumbed down explanation Edit 2: Or at least that's what I think that is. Lol
