Great lather, your lather is always on point, it seams to be barber quality 😂. Great shave and chat as always. I think that was a blow up last wee, we all seen it coming these last few months. Glad it’s past, and the content has already improved. For a while most shave channels had turned into infomercials. That’s why I enjoy your channel, just a guy shaving and taking about the hobby. I try to do the same. Thanks for what you do Dave.

Dave, I watched the first of your SRS videos. I wish I had seen those months ago. The point about using a DE razor for the first pass was great. My razor was bouncing when I did that but I got it to settle down. I don’t know why it did that. The jean strop idea was great. I paid $120 for a strop that I don’t think was worth it. The first time I used it, nicked the edge. It’s still usable but I had rather it had been the jean strop. You mentioned starting with a 5/8 round point razor. That’s what I have. Then I bought a 6/8 razor with a square point. I’ve cut myself with that every time I’ve used it.

Great shave. As to the drama; I've come to the conclusion/assumption that anyone doing an "affiliate program", ie. getting a stipend for customers they send a vendors way via link; is just a shill. Why would they give anything other than a flattering review, if there was financial incentive attached to sending potential customers to a vendor, with the caveat that they use a content creators link, name etc as a promo code. And getting the free soap, whether intentionally or subliminally, there's the influence upon a review, and therefore an implied bias, as the creator has no skin in the game. Too many shave creators have become nothing more than ad men for a few artisans, and it shows in their content, all glowy reviews for certain artisans, and weirdly enough that coincides with the amount of free product they get, And the financial incentive to do so via "affiliate links" and the such.
