A Geographically Accurate Michigan Hand Map

In an episode of Jeopardy! one of the questions/answers was something like, "the largest US state east of the Mississippi". Their correct response was...Georgia! But Georgia has the most *land* area. Michigan, when you include its water, is much larger than Georgia. My father, a geographer, is still bitter. And I, as a dutiful son, carry that bitterness on my back.

Hey John, so does adding control points in ArcGIS pro actually give the image an X,Y value? I'm asking because I tried to add an image layer to AGOL for a field map but when I try launching the field map on my phone it says there's no geodatabase or something. So can we even add image/tile layers to field maps? Or is it only vector/feature layers? I want to add my lease exhibits onto a web map (which I've done) that allows people in the field to see where the proposed project is while using field maps. Is it possible?

you can make your georeferenced-in-Pro image a tiled layer for AGOL and that should work perfectly in any tool. alternatively, there is a new feature in the AGOL Map Viewer that lets you overlay an image, but the transformation is very limited. and i don't know about Filed Map support for that.
