One that would tie the era of the Republic with the era of the Empire, the 2000s with the 1980s. Despite - or perhaps because - I was a boy then, the film itself was an experience without equal in my life. And to this day, despite knowing of the weaker aspects of the movie, "Revenge of the Sith" is my favorite of the six episodes and actually the most favorite film of my life: the story, the characters, the music, the worldbuilding, the sound effects of everything from igniting of a lightsaber to the pressurizing of Vader's helmet - and just the mythical scale of events... I don't know why, but every few months I have to get my George Lucas fix. Watch a bunch of interviews or just random clips. Always makes me feel good. Listening to him or just watch him do his stuff will always be a huge inspiration. Thank you, George! :) Greetings from Germany

Dude's a storytelling genius. His movies were just so captivating not because of technology or acting, but his storytelling.

It certainly wasn't the acting in 1-3.

I just saw the prequels for the first time (although I did see the phantom menace in the theater a million years ago) and I gotta say, the storytelling is really rough in those movies. I had a hard time following what the hell was going on for a great deal of the prequels

George Lucas is one of the good ones. It's a shame a lot of people don''t like the prequels, people my age LOVE them. He's truly an inspiration to aspiring creatives, and if I end up like George I will be a happy man.

Happy Birthday George Lucas. I love all Star Wars movies. Rogue One, Solo, Episode 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, The Force Unleashed 1 and 2. is awesome. Kids love the action. Not violence. I'll never stop watching Star Wars. Your great director and writer. I'm glad I watch Star Wars when I was kid, maybe 6 or 8. Episode 1 is awesome. All of them, of course. May the Peace be with u George Lucas. From Harlingen Texas. May 14, 1944 May 14, 2022 through May 14, 3022
