Political correctness. They have to follow an agenda, not offend anyone these days. Every cast has to be diverse, not a cast that’s makes sense to the time period. Also everyone wants to be over paid. So you can’t have massive battles with real people. New Alamo was good and flopped, hacksaw ridge was good. New Midway.

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting there reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others to feel better. Have a nice day. :)

Within my Soul, I know my father is with the Lord, but for the Life of me in this human body I can not shake off the insurmountable pain, I guess this pain is here to stay, and well I welcome it with open arms, because it is a gateway to remembering the precious life we have been giving, and through that it gives me Live and Compassion to Love and except as many people as I can wholeheartedly. I remember how deeply I was moved by the emphasis on the heroism and determination of Wallace and his Scottish people. The titular piece, A Gift of Thistle by James Horner and the London Symphony Orchestra, still gives me goosebumps. Life turned out in such a way that a few years later I ended up on the northeast coast of Scotland and have stayed ever since. A beautiful country, with rich culture, and lovely people. With a little bit of Scotch in my veins, I wish everyone all the best for the future.

My friend, seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. See it in this way. There very well may be a person out there that adds up to your character to such an extent that you want to spend the rest of your life with him/her. God knows this. But He also knows when you are ready or not. So rather than trying to find your love on your own, submit your desires to God. Put your trust in Him; that's part of what it means to seek "God's Kingdom". He already knows your heart's desires, so why keep it from Him? And then ask Him if there are things in your life you need to work on before you can wholesomely go into a relationship with pure intentions and the true, lasting love. You may want it, and we all do; but God is ultimately the very Author of love. Will He not give if you just ask it of Him? He will work all things for the good of those who love Him. So pray, be patient, and trust in Him. He will lead you to a very suitable person to marry and love in this way, if you trust in Him!

As a Scot living in America most of my life this movie has awakened the true spirit of my Celtic heritage. The love of one's country and his freedom not to speak of the woman he loved clearly shows through. I was born in Scotland and came here when my parents emigrated when I was four, I fought in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and proud of that. But I still consider Scotland my home. I take great pride living in America and knowing I have Scottish blood coursing through my veins.

I miss America and hope to be back soon. I call both places home lol I always say when I’m here I’m from Phoenix and when I’m there people ask Me where home is it’s sunny Scotland 😂

Good film for sure, and a great watch. Historically though its utter tosh. The historian Neil Oliver does the story a great service, I would suggest you watch it.
@Vanexelfan31374 жыл бұрын
Stephen Vince Haven’t watched it yet but definitely plan on it, to be sure. I was aware of the discrepancies but I still think the film is great as far as plot, acting, dialogue and story structure. Usually when the film claims that it is “based upon a true story “ it means that these people existed and that’s where the similarities end. I definitely appreciate the advice tho. 👍

Is someone who fights for peace truly violent?
@Vanexelfan31374 жыл бұрын
13o0tylici0u5 Absolutely. There has been much bloodshed in history in the name of peace. Plus, Wallace is most likely the figure of an ancient manifestation of the Peaceful Warrior: he’s wise, cultured, educated, positive, fit and cunning. Plus he does not seek out violence but he does answer the call when he is selected. He resorts to violence only as a very last option but, when he does, may his enemies beware.

@Londos1995 I remember when this movie was released, I could've watched it in a huge theater and experienced it fully. Instead one of my stupid friends at the time said he hated Mel Gibson and didn't want to watch any of his films and we ending up going to watch Johnny Mnemonic. 😭 😭 I ended up buying this movie on VHS and watched it on my small TV and it was still amazing, but I always never forgave my friend for making me miss watching it in the theaters. I really should've went and watched it myself, but at the time I was self-conscious of going by myself. The cherry on top of all this is that many years later my friend got around to watching Braveheart and he admitted it was a great film! FUCK THAT GUY! 😡 😡 😡

@@paula.1082 Hi, paul, my condolences for your loss...I think my words might be able to help a little....I was raised in New York, and in cities a lot of people do not believe in God, so I did not either, until a woman I lived with decided she no longer wanted the relationship, my heart was broken so I smoked a lot of marijuana & drank a lot of liquor but it did not heal me, I felt a little better but the next day or after the effect of the liquor or marijuana would wear off, again I was feeling like shit, so out of desperation & wanting to try something new although I did not believe in God I went to a prayer group and little by little I started feeling better and that made me start believing in God, and now years later whenever I have to go to a funeral whether it is a friend or family member it is totally different and also dealing with the corona virus has been easier for me with the help of God, and remember Mel Gibson risked his career making the movie the passion of the christ and he knew he would make a lot of enemies in hollywood but he still did it, because everything in that movie is true and remember years ago I was an atheist whenever christmas came around all I thought about was drinking, eating & trying to get some woman in bed, but eversince God came into my life, Christmas and Easter are totally different mindset experiences, listen to the song by Mariah Carey called ONE SWEET DAY, put the lyrics and also Celine Dions AVE MARIA is special cause she sings it in english not italian so you can understand what she is saying. These 2 songs will help when you feel sad thinking of your ex girl.

Well, what to say - "brave heart" - my love since childhood. this picture is the embodiment of cinematic art. in those years (90's) to do what he did as director gibson and his whole team, worthy of not just praise, but recognition of genius. without special effects heaped up, without computer graphics, almost 3 hours of not letting go of the action on the screen called the movie art masterpiece. music in this delightful picture is a separate component worthy of the highest praise and recognition.
