For endgame content on the Island, conquer the Overseer on Gamma difficulty (or higher, your choice) with the guys, then transfer yourselves and 1 tame each (no flyers?) to a new map. I would like to see Scorched for story content but Center is a cool map to be on!

Yeah me to. Fun fact for a little over an entire year of playing ark I couldn’t for the life of me get any trilobites to spawn in I don’t know why but that’s back when I was playing ark on my phone

trilobites on ark mobile are incredibly rare and spawn in the ocean somewhere, the only time i saw one on land was on a server where they had time to wander onto land

Just a thought in regards to constantly recording. There are some tools that are used for just recording like the last 30 seconds or minute or whatever that you could use alongside OBS just for reactions while grinding.

'Giga' chad blocks man from his bag of crystal. News at 11. Yes, they spawn *in* the volcano. Like the walls. And they can get out. Which is super terrifying. Also super convenient for taming and heart harvesting.

They spawn in the volcano all the time. You usually only see them in single player because they just die in the lava, it's hard to catch when playing on a server.

Easy way to not miss reactions is to use a clip program where one button records the last 30 or whatever seconds.

Hey Syn i dont know if you've found out si ce recording this video, but the Ark Additions Deinosuchus was causing rolling restarts on Svart! Nekatus has fixed it now I believe, but removing that one could help if it's still happening. Xiphactinus is also apparently not functioning correctly on the map. All the other AA creatures work just fine on Svart. The S-dino mod is also awesome if you want a little more variety! Here's hoping that's all the problem is and you can vet back to Svart whenever you feel its time :)

I’ve found like 4 Giga corpses near the lava on my island. It seems like the only place they spawn for me and when I did actually tame one, the single player glitch reverted my save

Have you admin commanded your game so it saves whenever you want? Haven't had any issues with my save, but i always admin command periodically and also when im about to hop off. Might work for you 🤷‍♂️

You can build on the volcano on official. We have a teleporter there for ascension and many people build on the flat spot up top in pvp.

Nekatus already announced on his discord that he is going to make the map a premium mod. The free version will still be available but more for testing purposes than for completion. Areas like the snow biome for example will not be finished on the free version for the moment. Maybe it does make more sense to go on with the svartalheim series when the map is finished

we've seen gigas on the volc before. Its super rare though, and at least a few of the times were on ark mobile. But we've seen a couple on the volcano.

I find that the further away from what I’m taming I am, the more likely I am to hit the creature as it’s going down because of the extra distance. I might pull the trigger while it’s up, but before I hit it, it falls asleep. Gigas are extra tough because they drain torpor so fast that you can’t really afford to wait the 5 seconds, unless you want to use 1.5x the darts/arrows and have multiple equally good weapons to switch between when the durability runs out.

On ASA I've only found Giga's in the Volcano. They haven't been higher than level 40 though. The other day I went there and there was a Giga and a Carchar in there together so I haven't been back
