Yes, the A68 down from Carter Bar into Northumberland then veering on to Rothbury is an epic ride on two wheels. One of the UK's best motorcycle roads, however, is back over Cater Bar, and west, (A6088/B6357) skirting the border and coming back into Nothumberland at Kielder. I have it up on my channel, but my cheap sports cam doesn't do it justice. Good reason for you to come back to Northumberland for another visit 🙂

A good tip for any biker riding over to Holy Island - after the tide has gone out wait until the causeway has dried completely. Back in the early 90's i made the mistake of riding my Honda Goldwing across to the island when the surface of the causeway was still wet in places and the underside of the bike got sprayed with corrosive salty sea water.

and here it is..., the long awaited follow up to Part 1... at last !! Sincerely hoping we'll get another 3 or 4 episodes from here, for me it's as close to heaven as one can get. I adore wide open spaces in nature, with no visible civilization, so i'm definately in the wrong place, here all cramped up in and amongst the Swiss Alps ☹, stupid me! Was just gonna clip ya knuckles for calling that an Observatory, but you corrected yourself just in time😊. You (surprisingly) missed out the very imposing Bamburgh Castle, the old home of the King of Northumbria. The admission price is OK and the experience Epic. The gigantic castle sits right on the sea and is visible from miles away..., they do excellent Ice Cream there to (if you don't mind queing). There seems to be something about those BMW drivers/riders..., a right bunch of "quacks"🤔 Just one regret about this video Miss UNK, it's a pity you had to distort the beautiful isle views with the stupid 360°. Yes there is a large number of us that hate them cams, coz of the way people think they have to use them, so, i'll clip ya knuckles for that, and hope you learn yer lesson!! Anyway, seeing is believing and cannot be conveyed on a camera, like it's seen with your own eyes... am I right Kate? See ya in the next instalment......
