A glimpse at our local wild koala - Jaxson, Goonellbah NSW

Jaxson is one of our wild living local koalas, although he has visited our Northern Rivers Koala Hospital and Care Centre for medical treatment and rehabilitation following a dog bite. Dog bites can be very serious to koalas and even fatal.
We are so lucky to have our amazing vets and volunteers who looked after Jaxson whilst he was recovering.
Jaxson is now out cruising his local trees living his wild life as he should be.

On Kangaroo Island a few weeks ago, hundreds of koalas were killed or injured when the trees they lived in were cut down . Please help save koalas.
