(Gene) So now about A Process Model that came from applying the philosophy about how something is at first inarticulate and it implies something which then when you get it, you look back and you say - that was what I was trying to say. And actually there are two was s. There is the “was” in my memory when I would say a a a. Sorry folks it is time I can't say… I’m saying now was what I was trying to say then. That gives birth to a Model in which I want there not to be atoms and electrons and people and entities like that. I want there to be from the beginning and implying that is carried forward. But of course I can’t say implying because that's a word for logic. It means exactly that what comes out was already there. So I have to change the word imply. Right? And all the words are like that…

I love this short introduction to APM and I added the Italian captions because I often refer to this in my presentations, e.g. in my presentation for the 2021 Gendlin's symposium. I am not sure that many people understand that the "retroactive was" is the Gendlian way to refer to the "retroactive movement of truth" (Bergson, Merleau-Ponty) in which true language has the power to make evolve a situation that "was there" as involved. This, in turn, is a rather hermetic way to refer to hermeneutic circles.

@nadalou7779 Dear Nada, in the summary you gave above, the second "was", which is the retroactive was of hermeneutics is not mentioned at all. Can you perhaps add that sentence?
