A Glitch in the Universe Sends Thousands of Vikings and Cro-Magnons to the Year 2024

Aliens from the past are beginning to appear in the modern world. The visitors come from the Stone Age, the Viking Age and the late nineteenth century. They do not know how they got here, and have no idea how to go back. After several years of coexistence, Viking Alfhildr joins the police force and together with a local detective must find the killer of the other aliens and discover the reason for their appearance.

If you brought some hunter gatherers to the present from 500 years in the past, how likely would it be that they'd still choose to stalk, kill and butcher an animal when they've got the option to eat a varied diet of foods that set their taste buds on fire in ways that before they'd never even imagined possible. SUGAR easily obtainable all year round. Thats and all the rest that the present day offers to us without effort. They don't even need to make a fire to keep warm now. Interesting you should say Detroit. The Ojibwa Native Americans have a minute amount of(probably) Cro-Magnon DNA from Western Europe dating back to about 16,000 BCE. It is thought a handful of Europeans sailed to N. America and intermixed with the ‘locals’, though probably nearly all of N. America was populated from Asia up until 1492.
