I just want to say that I prefer powder foundation. But I was so tired of being frustrated by color matches and the cake that can happen. I bought the Jane Iredale powder foundation on a complete whim after seeing one of your videos. I’ve never had more compliment on my makeup. Also my skin has looked even better using these products. I have so many eyeshadow sticks and I don’t need more but I want to try this brand.

I stayed away from eye shadow sticks because I thought they would make my eyelids look creasy (I'm 57). I watched a video awhile back that made me think I should try them. I tried the Nyx Jumbo eye shadow stick and I love how it goes on and how smooth it goes on. Thanks for the encouragement to try shadows besides the powder ones!

My ultimate favorite shadow stick is still from Elf the shade is magnetic pull. It's a complimentary shade for everyone too. Plus can't go wrong with it being only $5! Still my favorite shade and favorite brand after trying lots of others. Definitely try them out :)

I bought this foundation on your recommendation and I liked it pretty well but the shade wasn’t quite right and I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to do better in her line. I tried the Makeup Forever powder foundation when it went on sale, and wow I love it so much more. Plus the shade is a better match. I think the Makeup Forever is much more skin like.

I’d love for you to do a video on your favorite shadow sticks or liquid shadows. I’ve purchased some drugstore ones and they never set. They always seem to stay somewhat tacky. And you can’t really see the true color until you swatch it 😞

I watched this early this morning and immediately ordered the Americano eyeshadow stick. But couldn't comment because I was racing the clock for an appointment. Lisa I’m so on the fence with this foundation. You make it look so easy and it looks beautiful on you. I’ve tried Bare Minerals powder foundation and it did absolutely nothing for me at all so that’s why I’ve resisted buying this . I’m 71 and don’t want to look like I have a powdered face . Help 😊

Love tge makeup look. I wear JI pressed foundation every day. I always get compliments on my skin. Not a fan of the hair. The lsyers (not bsngs) are going to be in the way all the time and you'll constantly be touching them. Ew.

Hi Patty....I have tried the Elf No Budge and the Hard Candy eyeshadow sticks and both are ok....I think the Elf was nicer, but honestly compared to my Laura Mercier Caviar Stick, there is no comparison. I hear really good things about the Milani eyeshadow sticks but have not tried them yet.

How does the powder foundation wear throughout the day? I like the Laura Gellar foundation when I apply it but I find that within a couple hours it looks quite shiny. It isn’t oily, just glowy. If I touch up with a mattifying powder, it may help for a bit but ends up looking too cakey. I love the ease of a powder foundation, especially in the summer, but haven’t found one that works for my normal 50yr old skin!

I’ve noticed that my skin has been a bit shiny. I’ve been pairing with a matte powder from Clinique, using a light touch. I also have noticed that the benefit primer works really well.
