There's a few other new chinese & russian platforms recently which do a lot of advanced stuff for free so it wouldn't surprise me if it's proprietary, but yeah i also thought that at first. Also thought the desktop app might be a trojan horse to harvest your crypto data :D

Its free, is free wont it hack your computer ?It says its from Singapore I dont know it could be from elsewhere and log in page leads to a Chinese page where you dont know where you should put password as at 3/26/24 that is not a good sign
