A Goldfinch and House Sparrow in my organic mini Wildflower Meadow

I noticed movement and a flash of yellow amongst the Common Knapweed flowers. A Goldfinch was feeding on their seed heads! As I watched with great delight, a male House Sparrow then began to search for insects and was joined by a female. They have been teaching their six fledglings how hunt for the insects there. Sometime Nature gifts you with these moments, as I did not expect to capture both species in close proximity. Each benefitting from the meadow in different ways!
