That squid lure was very cool looking. The chain was so long that I was hoping you would find an anchor on the end. Lengths of your videos does not matter. I watch the whole thing either way. It's great that you found more cast net scrap. It's amazing what the small wildlife will hide in down below.

Gidday Nick. I find your videos very relaxing, and always interesting whether they're 12 or 20 minutes long. ☺ I often wonder what the story is behind each item and how it ended up in the drink. That chain was awesome! I think my favourite thing was the orange squid. How cute was that? It's amazing, isn't it, how our litter becomes a habitat for so many different creatures. That chair had a whole little ecosystem living in it. Have a great weekend Nick. We're having a quiet one. We were hit by a cyclone this week. Couple things… the second part of the video the ground seemed really rusty, any idea why!? I hear you on the video length thing. All my “friends” I watch the videos all the way through because just that reason, the algorithm doesn’t think the videos are good enough if someone dips after 5-6 minutes. What can we do to keep folks? Any ideas? I don’t wanna do super short videos either. Our first one was 5 minutes but I recently posted one nearly 40 minutes long. It did do better than others though so I got no idea. Great video brother!!

Hey, brother and good to hear from you as always! So about the first question you have with the ground being rusty... Apparently there has been other people at that same spot magnet fishing as I Picked up probably two hundred pounds worth of scrap metal that it looked like people had been banging off on the ground and took it home... I did not include that in my video. As most people don't care to see things like that. Leading back 2 the views in the video.. I just don't know.. even this video that has more "views" the watch time is only 7 minutes.. average so far! Not sure but one thing I believe is that alot of folks watch these videos at 2x the speed and that messes with the algorithm! Not really sure, but no matter what.. more to come and please keep up your good work!!!! 🤜

Nice job as always. That was indeed a cute little squid jig. Never saw one before. Do you repurpose the lead weights from those cast nets, as in melting them down, or use them as is for something else?

Thank you very much! That jig was s first for me as well. When it comes to the cast nets.. the older ones are lead and I have buckets full to eventually cast down.. the new ones are usually metal coated in plastic and my scrap yard won't take them.. unfortunately!
