Thank you for another interesting, positive and enjoyable video. No straw this year. I grew up with bushels, roods, pecks, quarts, gills, pounds, shillings, Fahrenheit. 50 years ago we went metric. You do get used to it and it is better but I still think in miles per gallon, not liters per 100 kilometer, acres not hectares.

OMG haven't heard "peck" used in a long time. We had an older gentleman that used to help us that always referred to a "peck".

This will be the first year that we don't have any wheat to combine. It will be different to see guys combining wheat & the combine will still be sitting in the shed. We are lucky here when it comes to roading the combine. We have a 35 foot header & are able to get to our fields without having to take it off. Gravel roads & not a whole lot of people driving around.

Dang around here theyd dock us fairly hard for that, all of ours this year was 59.9 to 63.8, majority was 61.8 to 62.9, the 59.9 was ar 21.2% our mill takes wheat wet for better flour quality. Shrink only no drying charge East central illinois

Our flower mills don't usually take wheat over 15%. I was docked 10¢ per bushel for the 57.3 TW

@@FarmerMD thanks, as rich and famous of a KZbinr you are, you still read the comments. Very impressive! 😂 I have a joke I always share. I’m a farmer with million dollar planters and $50k combines. Yields are a little light on organic no till, planting green. We’re also controlled traffic. I ran a 20’ / 60’ program most of our years, but have transitioned to 30’ / 90’.

Id love to upgrade to a 9500 or 9510 but as of now im still using my 6620 and it still gets the job done

We had a 7700 and a 4420 before upgrading to the 9500. I did like the 4420 - that was the 1st combine I purchased on my own.
