@@Oniphire I think this was just for a pun, but there is a romhack for Zelda II called "The Triforce of Courage" and one for LTTP called "Goddess of Wisdom", so we could potentially steer Jared to play those for a "Triforce Trilogy".

I always find fascinatin' how Jared can recognize map sections, remember bomb holes and know which dungeon is which. For me it's impossible, I can't tell dungeons apart and I certainly can't remember bomb holes or map locations.

A good ROM hack I'd love to see you play through is "This Gym Of Mine". Technically its own standalone thing instead of a "hack" but the same basic idea. I think the phrase "Jerd the Bug-type Gym Leader" should tell you everything you need to know.

This hack is using LoZ second quest mechanics. The flashy ropes (snakes) are a new monster type from the second quest. This means there may be one-way or two-way illusion walls, so rather then bombing, you might need to walk into them for a couple of seconds.

Jerd either forgot he picked up a bow in level 1, or forgot the bow is zelda one converts rupees into arrows. Its either that or the mod adds arrows as an actual consumable and thats the one thing he knew going in.

Oh, do I have some recommendations for you. FF IV Ultima edition is great. I'll never not recommend FF VI T Edition or Brave New World, both are great but I respect your opinion on why you don't mod VI. Pokemon Prism, a hack of Pokemon Crystal is great, and they're coming out with an update "soon" ™️ . The GBA Pokemon games have some great ones, Ultraviolet, Sors Glazed, Gaia, Unbound, Emerald Version National Dex, and Saiph are all great GBA hacks, but I'd endorse Unbound any day of the week. FF V has a hack that gives you three choices for abilities so Fight! is optional so there's plenty of room to be creative. I was involved with a hack/retranslation of Breath of Fire IIthat fixed a lot, added some QoL, fixed A LOT of dialog (it's one of the best projects I've ever had the privilege of be involved with). If you want any other ones let me know!

As far as I remember shops refill once you leave and come back, like in the original where you can buy keys over and over. If that shop sells heart containers, does that mean you can buy an infinite amount of heart containers? Or does each shop heart container count as a unique item and can be bought only once per shop/once overall?

I was searching on KZbin and seen you like to play old classic Zelda games. I was wondering if you would be up for the challenge and willing to try my homebrew game hack of "The Legend of Zelda" for the NES? The reason I asked this is, I’ve been working on several ROM hacks of the game changing the outer world, shops, item location, Dungeons and more. I'm looking for someone who streams on KZbin who would play a blind run through. I'd like to get the satisfaction of watching someone play through my quests. They have some challenge and will make you think at times. Can be a little tricky as well. I want to let you know I used a Zelda Randomize ROM when making these quest. I wanted to use a couple of the randomize options. You are able to save your quest by using controller 1 and pressing up +A at the same time. Select button swaps through items while playing the game and I used fast text. Let me know if you would be interested in doing a blind run through?

I think he misspoke. I believe, in Zelda 1, you have to buy the arrows item before you can use them, then firing the bow costs 1 rupee.

This Hack looks so unfinished. The Dungeons don't make any sence. Items just lying on the ground. Doors are open even if they shoud be closed (Boss room for example) And it's not a good Level Layout if you can ignore half of it.
