This game is one of my core games in my phone... I just returned after almost 1 and half year of not playing/rarely play this game because of work, work and life is getting hard... I have heard the rumor of this game is shutting down but i just take it as a grain of salt but today when they announced it... I started playing this game in 2019 and went off and on until 4 months ago ill forever miss this game and I'm so sad this is the first game that ever convinced me spending money was worth it, the graphics, the people, the developers, that game play, all the different designs and people I met trough this game I'm so thankful it existed I truly believe if it had gotten some advertising it could've works, sad to see it go ill be miserable ughh thanks you SMC for giving me an experience

SMC is where I found your channel, you help me alot through learning the game when I was starting. I be honest, SMC have crazy combat flow, dope music, cool mechs, so much unique concept back then but since we all can tell Netease cut off SMC team budget, the graphic never updated, not much qol, enough new map, interesting new mode,..I felt bad for SMC team 😢 , if SMC team get hired by a better company, they wouldn't end up like this

I only stopped playing after such a long time because the bugs became too much at some point.. but I still really loved this game even now. It was so cool and unique, there's still nothing really like it that I know of. Sad it will be gone now even though I don't play it anymore; many great memories. If only it could live forever with no bugs and high amount players, but all things must come to an end. RIP SMC

It is the game I picked up during covid days. And held solo champion for almost a year. Still remember a lot of epic battles that sadly not recorded. The most epic win was a final snipe showdown where I scope through a tree from the castle wall and the winning slowmo shows my enemy snipe is almost headshot me. It happened when we both scope shot at the same time. Also quit two years ago as cheaters got rampant on Steam. Still, it will be one of the best games I played in my life. RIP SMC.

It so sad man. I played this game since it first came out. I still remember the pre-season prior to season 1 era when you'd be lucky if you found a "real" player to go against with. Until today I still hope it will attract more player but unfortunately it didn't and now its shutting down. I still keep playing this game to show my support even though I have very limited time. It was a goated game during COVID times. It went downhill real fast because NETEASE. The lack of a proper countermeasure to actual cheaters and actual HACKERS who were able to DDOS the servers was shameful. It was the killer for the global side at least. Day by day, the players dropped. TDM matching halted, special arena was basically nonexistent. Grandmarshall started making sense lol. But wow, that initial wave of players leaving during season 5 or 6? I felt like it wasn’t fun anymore because the OG disappeared. WCG, Robin, Hersh, Escanor, Angel, and many others. They were elite rivals to go against and elite players to fight with on the frontlines. Goodbye SMC from SMC Swag.

I never knew you, never seen any of your content, but I have respect that you're into SMC. Its sad to see a unique mecha media go, especially with the dozens to hundreds of unique designs and mechanics throughout the mechs. Despite the brief spotlight here and there, mecha media is still very underrated next to everything else. So, anything remotely good ends up being really impactful.

11:41 (Me being a Gabriel main): Goddamn Snipers 14:06 Is that Saint Seiya? 22:08 Took three teleports from Gabriel to reach the peak (As high as the game allowed ofc), I used to pick my mech either by my mood or where may be the final area (If open area for example, Trio was my go to), so were always careful with picking my fights 22:40 From the highest spot, mentioned before, you just jumped down as human, with glider alone was enough to get up there 24:46 Alpha tower & Resort hotel... Can count with my fingers how many people landed with me on those places... but you maniacs loved that Castle so much 27:37 o.o Silver Deacon share birthday with me... from his shield passive to his personality traits , he resonated so much is not even funny (Because yes, people had thought that I'm gay as well, can relate...), but as much as I enjoyed Gabriel (Snipping from the highest spots is a pleasure), Caramel was love at first sight: Mix of bulk, firepower (Reload? Trio, what's that?), mobility and even goofiness Did like 10 games total with teams of 3 in like 5 years of playtime... always a loner, stocking resources to outclass everyone at the end; didn't matter if was Trio, Raven (Coolest mech imo) or Doomlight, I tried my best to stay away from trouble. My moments weren't as exciting as making a triple kill while low, but how I could withstand the pressure at the end with skateboard and Ion shots or Car rushing the next spot Gabriel needed to climb... SMC filled the spot for Battle royal... not a fan of Fortnite (I sucked at it to be fair) and the others are just copies of the same formula; so credits for this game to spice that so well. I'll cherish it even after is gone, as nothing comes closer to this terrific game that wasn't handled better Shoutout to Metal Slug Defense and Final Fantasy Opera Omnia (My icon is from it): Games that while out of service nowadays, still lives in our memories by how great they were Came back just today to mobile games after a month of break... and seems I lost Thoth? Hey zack, i finally see you play smc again. but i never expected it was a goodbye video. i vaguely remember the first time i found smc. it was at the moment genshin impact launch and im so irritated that my potato pc cant run it. so i searched for other games to play. i browse google store just to see what is in it and at the mecha genre i found it. SUPER MECHA CHAMPION. im sad my phone cant play it, but it actually works on my potato pc. i was overjoyed. i even dropped FGO for a bit just to focus on this game. SMC is the embodiment of the mecha genre. many try to be like it. but non surpass in its quality. gundam evo and mecha break try to act like they mecha. but i saw what they actually are. hero shooter reskin as giant robot. The sins of SMC is, that it is in a niche genre and in the hands of a greedy company. This game could have been big. but today's world only focuses on heroes and waifus. the mecha hype die out a long time ago. if only this game were released back then, maybe it would see popularity unseen to us now.atlast that dreams only reserve for a better world. in these short years, i have known a few smc content creators. you, slickier, amiima, tinyricktv, echodolt,deamon, smc utar. all of them now, stop making smc video. i cant blame them. even now i wonder what they doing. after you left, the game actually recive alot of love. it was during 2022-2023 up until august. constant update, new mech, new mode, new skin were introduced every month. my fav mode was merfolk tdm. i remember the first day that mode came. it was wild. people were also doing tdm(steam) every day. to me, this was the peak hours of smc. the best memories for me are getting the last kill and saving my team from losing. seeing the buzzle beater on screen and knowing i have the last kill really makes me proud every time. we actually in a team once. i use firestar. but we lost since im still not a pro back then. i really wish we could team up and win. but that also a dream for another world i doubt there will be a game as good or unique as smc. this game was one of a kind. I'm glad you have a good life. I'm still struggling but i believe there is light at the end of the tunnel. i guess i will be unsubscribing. i follow you for smc and stay for calabiyau. thank you for making smc content. its bright my days.
