I like that word 'aluvasudden', it's like 'I betcha', or 'sammich', or 'boy howdy aint that a kick inneh pants'. Just sounds so American.

I love your art videos Caleb. So soothing to watch. Latley I have been back on the grind of doing improv with friends, as well as getting back to art myself of drawing n painting after a short break since my painting class finished up three weeks ago. I also have been learning GameDev myself by learning Python and having a blast with it.

Thank you so much Steve! I've never done improv, that's awfully brave of you, I'd be nervous in front of so many people. You're learning to code? That's insane! I tried a couple times but wow it's hard for me.

Oh my gouache! You're so talented! It's very satisfying to watch, I just love the subtle details that instantly make part of it pop or look more realistic. Just like the creases in the road and stuff, love it. Love your story about the grease bin too 😆 God bless you and yours brother ♥️

"Oh my gouache" X'D how did I not think of that, good one lol. It's great to hear from you Sir Shelton! I still have every one of our communiques going back to the beginning btw, they are a blessing. Yeah man that grease incident lol, it was hard to describe because it was so subtle and strange, I'd drop a rock with the accuracy of WWII bomber and it would "thwup" into the congealed grease and make a perfect moon crater, as a kid I was like "well my afternoon's fully booked". God bless you and yours too!

@@artistcaleb Hey man, I'm just impressed you can keep track of so many of your viewers, let alone to remember little ol' me! You're very personable, and that's part of what keeps people coming back to your content. That and... stories about grease craters 😆 Good stuff my friend and thanks for the blessings! P.S. I know you were working on a game a while back. Sorry if I'm just way out of the loop now, but has there been any updates on that? If not, no worries. Trust me, I know what it's like make v-e-r-y s-l-o-w p-r-o-g-r-e-s-s . . .

@@ALivingFlame Ha! you're easy to keep track of, you're my brother! I'm still making that game, you nailed it with the s-l-o-w-p-r-o-g-r-e-s-s, so true. Actually though the game has changed like 3 times, it gets scaled down and the story changes, then it gets scaled down and the story changes, and on and on lol. BUT, I've finally got a bite I can chew. You really start to understand what's reasonable as you go, 90% learning and 10% developing.

@@artistcaleb Oh! Because I'm your brother! For a second I thought you were going to say because you had me "chipped". Shoot, I thought I'd finally be able to explain that bump behind my ear that won't stop beeping at night... I should probably get that thing checked... Anyways, glad to hear the game's still a thing, looking forward to it! Let me know when you need testers 😉

Hey, hope you've been well, my friend. I just felt like visiting your channel again to let you know - I finished the novel I'd been working on since 2018 ❤

Oh wow it's finished! Heeeeey congratulations Ravens!! You stuck with it and now it's done! Personally I don't understand how anyone can write a whole novel, I think it's an incredible accomplishment, I think I could do it if I could use size 150 font, two or three letters a page seems doable. It's got to be a good feeling I bet. Where are you going to publish it?
@ravensthatflywiththenightm7319
@ravensthatflywiththenightm7319 2 жыл бұрын
@@artistcaleb I'm still looking for either a publisher to directly hand over the manuscript or an agent to do that part for me. Back in 2008, though, I tried going directly to publishers but it's pretty hard, half the places I approached simply did not sell the kind of thing I wrote. So maybe this time around I might make use of an agent. They know the market, and they would have connections.
