A GREAT First Night in Vegas: Dinner at Don’s Prime, Slot Wins, & a Video Poker Handpay!

We recently visited Las Vegas, and as always, we had a fantastic time! This video shows highlights from our first night there. We were super excited for our vacation and didn't end up filming during the trip as much as we probably should have (we missed a lot!), but do have more videos from this trip coming your way. Our next Vegas trip is scheduled for the end of March, and we'll be sure to post plenty of videos from that trip, stay tuned!
This time around we stayed at The Cosmopolitan, which is almost always our home base for our Vegas trips. On our first night we were excited to visit Fontainebleau, which had just opened. I can't believe we didn't film any of the casino, but you've likely seen that elsewhere already. We also didn't film any of our slot or video poker play there because we didn't win ANYTHING! Not even a bonus. It was disheartening. And the cocktail service was nonexistent! We'll have to think twice before returning.
The good news is that we did capture some footage from our dinner at the brand-new Don's Prime steakhouse in Fontainebleau, and we can say that we highly recommend this restaurant. The decor is gorgeous, the service was top notch, and the food was delicious.
Afterwards we returned to the Cosmo, our favorite property in Las Vegas, and as usual we had an excellent time gambling and enjoying cocktails. We had some nice wins on several slots that kept us entertained, and ended the night at the Chandelier Bar, where we played video poker and hit a Royal Flush, quads with a kicker, and a handpay! Good morning Ellabelitta🌞gotta love Vegas💕except for the smoke😖😖we were going to Vegas this past weekend for our 36th anniversary, but we decided to stay local and we went to Barona instead which is non smoking because I’m still dealing with the after affect of pneumonia. I did read and saw videos about Fountainbleu and most of it was negative, but it’s always good to go and see a new casino. Ellabelitta I understand the not filming aspect because sometimes I just want to play and not be filming, can’t wait to see your other videos and when you guys go to Vegas again look for the Magic Lamp it’s actually a good and fun game. John! There you are! I was worried about you. I hope you’re feeling a lot better even though you’re still dealing with the after effects of pneumonia ☹️That is rough, and smoke in the casino definitely would aggravate it. I’m so glad Yaamava’ never went back to indoor smoking-and I used to smoke back in the day if you can believe that! I didn’t realize I was coming down with something when I filmed this so it was really getting right in my throat. Anyway, happy anniversary to you and Mrs. Reyes!💕💐 I’m glad you got to enjoy Barona. Thank you for watching, and sorry we won’t have any Rams games to watch for awhile 😭 Let’s hope Puka wins Rookie of the Year!

@@EllabellitaLovesSlots. Thank you Ellabelitta😎yes the smoke really gets to me, you know Yamaava’ has a small smoking section and it’s downstairs by the gift store. I walked in there once and I walked right back out🤢I smoked in my teens, but a pack of Marlboro’s cost 50 cents🤣🤣I can’t imagine paying 10 bucks for a pack now. Yes Barona was actually pretty good except for Saturday but we recovered on Sunday and Monday morning, but I did want to go to Vegas, but it worked out. The Cosmo is awesome and I love the way the machines are situated in the casino, as for Fountainbleu I think it’s getting a bad rap because it’s new but I think over time that will improve, it has too in order to compete. You know Ellabelitta the lost to the Lions hurt but the future is bright for the Rams, some key free agent acquisitions and another stellar draft, then we’re back in the thick of things. Good luck to you guys at your next gambling adventure, I might go to Barona Sunday because they have 10x points all day but all depends on the rain . Take care and have a good evening💐
