Dear brother Ahmed.In large mosques such as Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Camlica and Taksim, there are imams who speak at least 2 languages.Be sure to contact them.I know that the Presidency of Religious Affairs of Turkey has guesthouses for guests like you.They can host you.There may be religious education programs for our brothers like you.They guide you.Also we have brothers and sisters from different countries of the world who come to the İsmailağa community in the Fatih Çarşamba district for religious education.I recommend that you consider it as well. I am really happy for you.Because in both worlds, there is no happiness other than Islam.Islam is the last divine religion of our creator.The religion of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) has lost its originality by people.You are definitely on the right track.Fi emanullah.

The brother "Turkish Lessons", deleted his posts but I put roughly what he wrote for readers to understand my replies better: @Ahmed Y. do you know Turkish language well? if you know, i recommend you read Risale nur from erisale site in Turkish (but unchanged version, because gulenists change somethings in their publishings to damage risale nur and muslims) . it also has English translation in erisale site but, i found some mistakes in English translation for example they translated wrongly so that; vesselam =And that’s the matter in a nutshell!" @@PimsleurTurkishLessons Brother, I don't know Türk language well yet and I am not interested in Sufism or Spirituality in general because these paths are dangerous if you don't know how they work and you can be deceived easily by Gülenists, for example, as you say. Lots of Türk followers of Said Nursi have been deceived by Gülenists or others, imagine how easy it is for foreigners to fall into traps. What you found translated wrong is nothing and this was not made by Gülenists but, by Şükran Vahide. Generally, I want to follow the original path of Allah only. As for English translations, every Muslim should be careful of English translations of the Qur'an as well, because different denominations and sects and paths/tariqas have different translations and different interpretations/tefsirs according to different schools of thought/madhabs.

Turkish Lessons: @Ahmed Y. yes. gulenists used risale nur to collect followers but they made its fake version in name of making its (Ottoman) Turkish more (modern ) Turkish so people would understand it without dictionary. But wriiter said nursi did not let this even his time. Risale nur is not sufism. even Said Nursi says , this time is not sufism time. because now atheism etc are increasing and there is attack directly on belief. @@PimsleurTurkishLessons Yes, I know brother what Güllenists have done. They even have written their own translation of the Qur'an in English. But, real Risale-i Nur students were also guilty at that time because they didn't support the secular one party system, so some of them were touched and sent to jail together with Said Nursi. Now, they might speak, some of them, with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan but he is not a fan of Said Nursi's works. He just like and speak good about them just as he tries to like and speak good with everybody who is muslim, except Fethullah Güllen. Alhamdulillah brother. Risale-i Nur works might not be 100% Sufi but, Said Nursi's teachers were Sufi and his ideology was influenced a lot. Yes, Said Nursi said then that that time was not Sufi time, but if he lived now maybe he would have other opinion. Atheism was more prevalent back then in Türkiye, not so much now.

Correct. I don't use "hello" now but, I didn't know at the beginning. There are many things that Muslim brothers and sisters here have told me, as a new Muslim, but other also which they haven't. It still strikes me when born Turkish Muslims say "merhaba" instead of As Selamun Aleykum.

I don't know why but KZbin was not showing this reply to me until yesterday when I did reply to you but again it hided it. So, I will reply to you again and inshallah it will be shown this time. First, my Greek ancestors, as well as yours as it seems, were not raped nor enslaved by Islam. Islam is well against rape and enslavement from the time it appeared as a religion as it went against this norm of Arabia back then and through time there are multiple examples that this is not the case. Also, if you are implying what happened during and after the Greko-Turkish wars starting from the Seljuks, Ottomans and Turks, these wars were not exactly Islamic because all of these armies had non-Muslims fighting for them as well. So, we cannot call that Islam was in wars with Christianity, not even Christian Orthodox sentiments. These wars were 100% tribal wars which evolved into national wars. Yes, they used Islamic elements especially the Seljuks and Ottomans but, overall they were wars for the expansion of Islam through the conquest of territories and not particularly to spread and teach what Allah is to the non- Muslim population. Second, I do love my conversion to Islam, thank you very much.

No he is not. I wish you stopped calling people traitor when they choose their own way. Moreover İslam orders its followers defend their country, religion, identity, belongings and so on. Therefore İ believe that he will be much more patriotic of Greece than he was.
