This is one of their very best performances, its so good. I’d highly recommend their performance of Magma at Red rocks 2023 if you want more like this! Personal recommendation would be Robot stop + Hot water live at Bonnaroo ’22

Man that was great! I think you might like Nonagon infinity. Which is a album where every song goes into every other song seamlessly and it’s just full throttle psychedelic hard rock all the way

"who knew King Gizzard could do music like this" Eh? they're simply the best and most interesting rock band in the world right now. Listen to it all. I'm 54, been a stoner since 16, into all types of music. Amateur producer and DJ. This is the best band i've known in my lifetime. Simples

This band is incredible. Constantly releasing albums, usually 2 every year, yet somehow not settling for quantity over quality. Their KEXP sessions are always incredible. My recommendations for their KEXP stuff would be I'm In Your Mind (medley), Nuclear Fusion and The Lord of Lightning. I would also recommend Crumbling Castle, but the KEXP version doesn't have the intro, and they never play the outro live.

Awesome reaction, their KEXP performances are legendary. Check out their performances of their thrash metal material from 4 years ago, featuring the songs "Mars for the Rich" "Venusian 1" "Perihelion" "Venusian 2" "Hell"... they have 2 drummers during these performances and its so heavy \m/

Joined as a member just to watch this and it’s already worth it!! Really hoping you dig into this band- you’ll have an amazing time as there’s so much to check out. 26 studio albums in 12 years and piles of live releases. They’re also cool as shit, releasing their best album, Polygondwanaland, for free and making the masters available to the public to do as we please. Many people released it on vinyl, some released 8-tracks, you get the idea. They’re doing the same with all their shows on their current US tour, with all shows streamed live on KZbin and the soundboard audio being released in the near future for anyone to use however they want. There’s so much more that makes them special. I’m 57 and haven’t been in love with a band like this ever in my life, and I’m a music dude since I was 9 (KISS). I’ve had favorite bands but this is much different. The music is great and includes a ton of genres and they’re doing it with dedication, love, fun and joy. It’s so damn refreshing! Cheers, my friend, from Bellingham, WA (seeing Gizz 3 times in September!!)

@@GreatStonedDragon Dude, I had KISS posters all over my room,,which wasn’t easy as most came from mail order. I lived in a small town. My buddy Corey and I would listen to Alive I and II like every other weekend, with tennis racket guitars etc. This is 100% true. Then my mom heard they were satan worshippers and gave me $50 in return for throwing all my records and posters away… i wasn’t involved in the decision ha ha. Anyway, here are two fantastic Gizz video performances: ‘Crumbling Castle’ on KEXP and ‘Magma’ live at Red Rocks 6/8/23. The music video for ‘Iron Lung’ is pretty badass and SUPER trippy, and the video for ‘Ice V’ as well as the live at KEXP are great. The V in ‘Ice V’ is pronounced five for the Roman numeral btw. Ok. Thanks for the positive note!

If you're going in stoned, next up shouod be Catching Smoke. Another very different sound from them and a very weird video.

Their live performances are incredible. Definitely check out Magma from Red Rocks 23 or Float Along Fill Your Lungs from PALP fest. Amazing stuff. Also, they are live-streaming all their shows in the current tour. Super fun

The drummer has a solo album called CAVS and it’s super groovy. Tony”s Cuban Bosa Nova and Swordfish are 2 standouts. He’s amazing.
