Thanks. hope to hear back from you soon.

Why do people make this so hard, skip this shit and build an adult-sized cage! I suppose people forget monitors are born and released right into the wild, so they are ready to survive. Bigger the cage the better, especially from day one. Why do people make so many excuses for not having a large cage?
@snakeguy866 жыл бұрын
Yeah can build one but the grow tent hold heat and humidity very well and they come in big sizes.
@CronusandRhea6 жыл бұрын
That's okay but if you build an adult-sized cage, contrary to anecdotal evidence, a monitor lizard will not have to be moved again (less stress) they will have plenty of roaming room and you will be able to enter its home and sit down with the lizard to become acquainted. I find this hobby/passion the most difficult due to the lack of useful advice and people being stuck with anecdotal evidence. You ask for help on FB and you get multiple answers which lead to arguments. But when it comes to housing I've learned build early and build big.
@jabberwocky35985 жыл бұрын
I believe you are confused. These are called 'grow' tents because they are essentially indoor green houses and allow plants to grow indoors (ie; marijuana). Totally different than what reptile hobbyists refer to as a 'grow tank' which is a smaller tank that you eventually replace with a larger tank as the animal grows.
