This is a video guide on how to classify whether if it is a real jade or not. A correction to false guides that I've watched. Sharing to you the 3 liable tests as basis of which I prefer. I do resin so I'm aware on how to do simple charms (not real stone). I've watched around 4-5 videos already and almost all used water as basis (but it's not really liable). I am a jade collector. Hair test and water drop test is not reliable, period. The only real jade you have in your video is the pig design its a nephrite, the green donut is agate stone not jade. There are only two jade stones; Jadeite (rare) and nephrite (common).

@@jeromeolarte206 The most fool proof is the specific gravity test or density test since every stone has a particular range. In the case of jadeite 3.33 more or less. Scratch test is okey also but when you are dealing with agate, chaceldony and other faux jade stone, it cannot also be scratch since the hardness or these type of stones are similar to jade. In the end you need an experienced collector or a certified gemmologist to look into your jade piece so you can know that it is really genuine :)

Hindi talaga ma susunog yung hair because the crystal is polished kahit hindi pa yan jade as long polished ang stone kahit glass bottle lng ng coca cola gamitin hindi yan masusunog ang hair mo believe me na try ko yan sa glass bottle ng coca cola at hindi na sunog yung hair ko.

Magandang jade is from Myanmar, pero lahat Naman po maganda.. nephrites jade is the most popular kasi masmabilis ukitin kesa sa jadeite jade, but jadeite is the most highly valued kind of jade than nephrite..and known as "imperial jade"

Yes. The most expensive nephrite is the Mutton Fat Jade a milky white Hetian Jade and the least expensive is the green Hetian Jade. If you say Jadeite, the most known in the west is the green Imperial Jade. Here in the East, the most sought after is the white Jadeite, the white and apple, and the snow and moss Jadeite. Purple Jadeite is expensive too but it's quite rare.
