I freaking love that place ! 🙂 I've been there 3 X's in the last 2 yrs, and going again for an epic 1 month trip this April/ May 🙂 From California, these are 4500 mile round road trips, but SO worth it ! Oh, and a week in SE AZ on the way home 👍 Watching your video gets me SO pumped 🙂

I think the only paid spot is the Birding Center. Almost all the other spots are free, and they are awesome! Definitely my favorite spot was the Valley Land Fund on Sheepshead St. Thanks for watching!

How long did take you drive or fly from Bolivar Peninsula to South Padre Island?

Was South Padre Island better than High Island for bird watching?

It was comparable. High Island probably had a better variety but South Padre was easier to see them. Both were awesome!
