39:28 guys come on, the BEST speaking english member is rose, her mother tongue is >literally< english, she only went to korea when she had 16, she didn't lose any of her english! lisa mother tongue is thai so ofc she will be amazing at it (i say this bc you were so surprised to hear her speak thai?), she learned english in thai international school, this is also very normal there (ten from nct/wayv who is also thai learned the same way). jennie learned while she was studying in nz, she used to struggle at first but for the past few years she had so many international schedules that she's muuuuuch better and at easy now! jisoo was born and raised in korea, she didn't speak any english but now after many years she can get by just fine :)

I don’t the level of strictness Lisa had for those trainees is nearly the same as with the members. For those trainees that is what she was there for, she was there to be a mentor and to help them and she was strict with them. She remembers that is the kind of strict training (probably more) that she got when she was a trainee and that is what helped her. It’s different with the members, although she is the best dancer, she is not their mentor or their dance leader. They have a dance teacher/choreographer. I think the level of respect she has for them is too high for her to be strict with them the way she was with the trainees. I don’t think they are that put together in dance because Lisa makes them that way, their company unfortunately still has a much bigger hold on them, so my guess is on them. (Also it’s kind of just a basic thing in k-pop in general that cheograpgy is on sync) Also in terms of who is the best at English the order would be (Rosé, Jennie, Lisa and then Jiso) Jennie lived in New Zealand for a bit.
