Nice clear video John. Haven't considered staking in either Macro or Landscape before, but I will try it, when we get to a little bit of normality. I'm dying to do some serious photography, But as you know London has a different view:-)

The initial audio quality had me concerned, but the middle was fine. Overall, this was excellent for me, going to try it out later today. I also subscribed. I liked the sharp + bokeh example a lot! Thank you.

I am using a Z6ii but I do not see the Peaking stack image on option in the Focus shift shooting option.
@johngravett919411 ай бұрын
Are you using a Z lens, or an F- fit with the adapter - peaking stack images only appear with Z-lenses (annoying, isn't it!)
@GaneshShanker211 ай бұрын
@@johngravett9194 Yes, I am using 105 Macro F2.8 Z mount S lens Nikkor. I am using my camera in auto mode.

audio quality is poor

I have sorted that out for future videos, hopefully you will still find the techniques of interest.

A nice guide. Just be careful with the terms: Z7 does not do "focus stacking", but "focus bracketing" is the correct term!
@johngravett91942 жыл бұрын
If you’re going to be pedantic, focus shift shooting is the correct term. If you watch the whole video it should be clear enough though.

Your sound make your video unpleasant unfortunately.
@johngravett91944 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you find that - I'm a photographer rather than a sound recordest - unless it's just my voice you find unpleasant. Hope you learned something anyway!

@@johngravett9194 your video is nice and helpful. Maybe just a tie micro should do a better job and make your video even better .
