Hello i am struggling understanding what 10-20% of the weight . Do you guys have a video of making the mix?
@Ryonet Жыл бұрын
No worries at all, you'll just need to pick up a gram scale! Tare the weight of your container, then add your ink, then tare again and add 10-20% of your ink weight. I'll work on a video for you!

Can I use the FN puff additive with wilflex ink?
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Alan Phung! you certainly can experiment with it. However, FN-INK has that lower cure temp, including the PUFF. The cure temp of LAVA may be too hot for the FN-INK PUFF.

Oh so washing a puff print, and seeing if it stays or falls out is a good indication of how it cured?
@Ryonet Жыл бұрын
Hi! after cure and a rest period to let the ink completely cool down, you can do a gentle rub test and a small stretch test (puff doesn't stretch well) to see if the ink layer is stable. However - A wash test is closest to a gold standard for testing.

Very informative! I only have a flash dryer - is it possible to achieve the same results without a drying belt?
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
For sure! You just gotta keep a watchful eye on it and record your times to keep it consistent 🤙

Can you use puff additive when making plastisol heat transfer? Or will the pressure from the heat press keep the ink from rising?
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
Hi @Richard Effingham. Great question. I believe that it would get smashed in the heat press. you may get a very small amount of loft. Hope that helps.

Can we do this on an auto press? Or is this a better off on a manual press? This definitely is something I'd love try here in the States
@Ryonet2 жыл бұрын
Good morning @carsen howell. you can do this on either. Honestly hinges more on cure temp and the cure temp of all your other inks in the print.

Can Puff additive be added to Silver metallic ink?
@Ryonet Жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes you can add puff to FN Silver, but when it puffs you can loose more or less of the silver reflection. The puff can cover up a lot of the flake that gives you the silver look. Alternately, you can print puff under the silver and that will allow you to keep much more of the silver metallic effect.
