Yeah Idk why these guide creators won't ever give the same amount of time to every member. Usually u can tell by the screentime of each member, who are the guide creators favorite members. Chenle and especially Yuta are the ones that are always under appreciated in these guides.

24:56 just letting u know that affection between males like that is very common in korea. korea has an entirely different culture surrounding male affection, it’s normal for male friends to be touchy with eachother. whereas in america a male even remotely complimenting another male is seen as “sus” and “gay”. just wanted to clear things up because the more u get into kpop the more you’ll see how touchy these groups are with eachother, and no that does not mean they’re gay nor does that make them sus. they just have a healthy, loving, affectionate, COMPLETELY PLATONIC relationship with eachother (same goes with females however females being affectionate is already quite normalised everywhere including in america). sorry for the long comment but just wanted to give u a heads up, thank u for the reaction!! cant wait to see u react to more of nct
@thesavguard3 Жыл бұрын
I appreciate the comment. I actually already know this, it's something to get used but I think it's fun and shows that the group enjoy each others company
@juwoos Жыл бұрын
@@thesavguard3 yes definitely! you’ll most likely get used to it pretty fast the more u do a deep dive on these groups, at least that was the case for most people. keep up the good reactions!!

Lol. Not the nct dream being too nice🤣🤣. They're like the savage unit. They will roast each other and other people just for the fun of it. If you get something wrong they will be on your case. They do fight but often it fights that is easily resolved like 10 min later

They are my type of group then. I am also a professional roaster😂

Johnny and Mark speak English well because English is their first language. Johnny is Korean-American, who was born and raised in Chicago and Mark is Korean-Canadian, who was born and raised in Toronto. Complimenting them on their English skills is like complimenting you because you speak English well. LOL NCT's leader Taeyong, speaks English pretty good because he, along with Mark, is a member of SuperM and NCT-127, and both groups promote in the U.S. a lot, so he learned English so he can communicate when he does international interviews. Plus, he has learned, or is learning, all the different languages that the NCT members speak -- English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, etc. -- so that he can communicate with all of them in their native language. Other members who speak English well are Jaehyun, from NCT-127, and Ten and YangYang, who are members of WayV. Jaehyun lived in the U.S. for 4 years with his family when he was young so he learned English as a second language while there. Ten is from Thailand, but he attended an international school in Thailand run by the British education system, so he spoke English in school and YangYang is Taiwanese, but his family lived in Germany for a while so he learned English, as well as German, to communicate overseas, etc. NCT currently has 23 members and its one of the most international groups in Kpop. The members as a whole currently represent 9 different countries and they speak 8 different languages. For example, there are 10 native Korean members (Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, Jungwoo and SungChan), Mark is Korean-Canadian, Johnny is Korean-American, Yuta and Shotaro are Japanese, Ten is Thai, Lucas is Chinese-Thai from Hong Kong, YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so as you can see, there are several members who are also fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages.

I dont know if you know this alreeady but in kpop the leader role isnt for the most popular member or the one usually at the centre (even though this could still happen) but its rather for the actual leader within the team who speaks at events and leads the teams during practice, helping each member bring out the best of themselves. Theres also the position of Centre (the member who has good stage presence and makes the group look the best as the centre) and also the Face of the Group (often the most popular member and the one you first think about when the group is mentioned)

Just letting you know, when you skip, you tend to skip one or two clips altogether and miss a whole part lol. Also, guys being touchy is very normal in korea. It doesn’t mean that they are gay. It’s how they show each other affection, just like how females would. I think it’s sweet and there’s nothing wrong with that. Thanks for the reaction anyway, it’s nice to see people trying to get to properly know the group.

Most Kpop artists do reality TV shows and participate in variety TV shows, etc. They also go live on VLive and other social media platforms and just talk to fans or interact with members while streaming, etc. Kpop artists share their lives with fans by participating in TV shows and KZbin programs, live streaming, posting vlogs of themselves participating in events or just chatting with fans on livestream at the end of the day. It's designed to help fans feel more connected with their idols and in turn it helps drive album and merchandise sales because people get super invested in their idols and they feel like they know them like a friend. NCT stands for Neo (which is a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology. So, as part of NCT's concept, they are connected through all aspects of technology and social media, etc. Which is why SM puts a big emphases on documenting everything NCT does through tons of social media content and KZbin videos. NCT are known for their vlogs and videos that shows them just living their lives. Several of the members have their own dedicated Vlog content and most of them spend a large part of their down time filming and recording their lives. So, the NCT members document almost all aspects of their life and SM releases the videos on NCT's KZbin channels. The video of the Dream members hanging out and grilling, etc. is one of their numerous reality shows where the members took a vacation for a few days together and a film crew recorded them on vacation as part of a TV show/Internet program. The particular show where these clips are from is a show SM produced called NCT-Dream 7llin' in Our Youth. If you check out NCT-Dream's KZbin Channel you will find all the episodes. Just explore NCT's KZbin channels in general and you will find all kinds of content that will help you get to know the members better. Kpop is way more than just music, it's all about the connection they make with fans and the public, so there are hundreds of TV shows and internet programs that Idols go on or their companies create to allow fans to get a glimpse of who the members are as people.

25:23 that was actually NCT 127 in that clip, and Haechan was getting cuddly with Taeil. Thank you for your reaction! I was on your live a little late, so I just saw one dream MV reaction. Maybe a little note on the side because you´ll probably see that a lot: In KPop, most of the male members of bands are very close. Skinship, like hugging (like Haechan did), is not that uncommon. You´ll get used to it and I promise at some point you´ll enjoy seeing their physical bonds) Esp. in Dream because they debuted as teenagers. Jisung was 14 (!!) years old when he debuted, so you can say the members raised him. They have lived together for years and know all about each other. This is the reason why their comeback is so emotional for us

Bro the skipping is annoying asf, like ik you dont wanna spoiler yourself, but its not showing the whole song? Even at the parts where Chenle was singing as a child, like there was no reason to skip- The singing, dancing and rapping parts are one of the most important parts in these guides! Alot if viewers actually click on these guide reaction videos so they can see the reactor react to the great rapping, dancing and singing, so skipping the whole part is just REALLY frustrating and nerve wracking! Its also just plain annoying.
