@@FeiYenHunting the only hunting game I play is COTW. Woth seems like its playerbase is much smaller. Is this indicative of its quality or does it deserve the same attention as COTW? The graphics feel kind of cartoony for some reason, although this video has piqued my interest for sure.

@@josh.c36 Hey mate, woth playerbase is small thats for sure. I believe it deserves just as much attention. Players are looking for different things which contributes to a small player base. both grinds are different, run and gun is more appealing compared to carefully growing your herds. I have never heard someone refer to woth graphics as cartoony but overall you can argue that cotw graphics prob feel a bit more grounded. Cheers for checking out the video.

I’ve been hunting my entire life, and as soon as I tried this game with this mode, it instantly felt so much more real than any other game out there rn. The way the animals moved and reacted, made noises, especially the tracking, yeah sometimes it doesn’t bleed every 5 feet and you actually have to spend time searching. I really appreciate the inclusion of this game mode and love the better immersion.

I play on Hunter but this makes me want to try Ranger on a new map. Funny, I never thought to use the clouds for checking wind direction as I always relied on the HUD!

Things get lost when you hunt with the HUD, Range is a nice challenge and a change of pace. Appreciate the comment mate!

@feiyen - the only thing you didn't show off is that when looking at the blood with the BINOs you can see the air bubbles, stomach fragments and tell what type of vital hit you did.

Nice in principle, but I wish there was a middle ground with some of the settings. For example a more vague sound visualisation rather than all or nothing. If you have hearing difficulties, you have no way to identify the direction with UI gone completely. Also a zeroing indicator, as a UI or on gun model would be better than just remembering or guessing

Yeah the audio direction needs work, you can play with HUD on if you really need to see those elements. Cheers mate!

Agreed! It's a game we are playing on a screen and we cannot use all our senses as in real life (forget about smell!!!) so more customizable options like the one you mentioned are definitely needed.

TIP :: for anyone doing this mode - having a good set of headphones that gives you true 360 degree audio. I tested my sound with the music from the jeep. Turned on the music stepped out of the jeep walked away a little bit - still able to hear the music and then slowly turned to hear the music move in my head phones.

I really wanted to watch the video but was beginning to fall asleep so had to close it...If you want people to watch your videos, make them lively and fun not monotonous and boring even if the content might be good.
