There are questions many people have been asking so I'm just going to answer them here: Q: *I went to Miku Expo 2020 Europe and the song list you mentioned was wrong.* A: I apologise about this since this was my fault but all the songs I mentioned will probably not end up in the US & Canada tour except for World is Mine. I'm sorry for not checking sources earlier. Q: *Can we buy glow sticks at the concert or do we bring our own? Which are allowed?* A: Any chemical glow sticks no longer than 6 inches (15.2cm) are allowed (No LED). You can buy at the concert but they get sold out very fast but you can also buy the official ones here: mikumerch.com/collections/featured/products/miku-expo-2020-light-stick Q: *Miku Expo 2020 USA & Canada has been delayed till when?* A: Cancelled due to Covid-19. The next concert is an online one due to be held on June 6th 2021 for free. Make sure you don't miss it! Q: *In your video, it says you have to sing the parts. What will happen if we don't?* A: You don't _have_ to, it's just the part where the audience normally sings along to the songs so it's to get you an idea on who's going to sing. Sorry about this, I did some bad phrasing. Q: *Do Niconico Cho parties still exist?* A: *No* but I don't know why. However, Niconico Chokaigi exists but idk much about it. For Rin and Len glow stick colours that I didn't mention in the video (thanks to Erin Star & Yeet Girl Tsubasa): If the official glowstick has both yellow and orange, you use orange for rin and yellow for len. In this house, we stan Nico Nico Cho Parties. They have better everything, and they are normally filled with a bunch of inside jokes and references. While the models might look weird, I think the visuals are a lot better too, due to the fact that they actually have backgrounds. Edit: Fixed my wording, sorry for the confusion!

I think the Cho Parties are fantastic, but I'm not really convinced they're better visually. The setpieces, "videos", and references are super fun, and to me, the amateur nature of the performances are what makes them representative of NND as a platform, but if official Crypton shows started using the Cho Party style, I think people would be disappointed. There's space for both a concert that tries to emulate pop stars and a concert that acts as a celebration of net culture.

@@data7226 they weren't using Mmd for this (thank goodness lol) but using unique method by using the motion from the Project Diva games. Forgot what it was but there's a behind The Scenes video on this concert and it's fascinating. But yea, some of the issues with this model was the clipping. It's a very very similar (If not the exact same) model used in Mikunopolis from a year prior and that was an upgraded version from the 2010 model which was very low resolution in comparison. I personally love this model even though there are some motion issues

Well the Magical Mirai/Miku Expo models, I think, look better...And its cool and all, like what you like, I just sometimes dont like the.. *choices they do with miku,* like making her pole dance, and have her be hanged one time, the i guess cult in that song was funny, but i dont understand it when the point of the sonf wasnt really that way. sometimes its really confusing, and sometimes it can look rushed. but its fine if you think otherwise, its just my take on that

To anyone looking for why NNCPs no longer exist, it’s because of Nico Nico themselves, not any of the vocaloid companies. The NNCP concert series was produced by fans, for fans. This means that this project relied on Nico Nico’s support, hosting, and funding in order to actually proceed with putting this specific event on. For 2019’s NNC, Nico Nico stated that they wanted to try something else regarding Vocaloid and that there would not be a grand concert like from previous years. (Rip NNCP concerts 2012-2018) In 2020, a Vocaloid concert was planned to be held but with less vocaloids and fewer songs featured than previous years. This concert is known as VocaFes. The Vocaloids that were to be used were Miku, Rin, Len, Una, Gumi, Yukari, and VFlower. (No more Gakupo, IA, or UTAUs :

Why everyone keeps on hating the Crypton concerts? I don't like the NicoNico ones but i don't go and say it in every video they are mentioned lmao. For me, what ruins the Cho Parties are the TDA Models, and the somewhat low quality of the projectors. Like, put videos from both concerts side by side and you see a clear difference. Also, like someone said in the comments, they are kind of different in some way. Crypton does what an actual concert would probably be like, meanwhile, NicoNico throws more of a show, and includes varios scenes and plays with the screens. Oh, I forgot about the horrible physics in the Cho parties, but i don't know who to blame. The staff, or the MMD program. probably the program.

For Miku Expo & Magical Mirai: You either pre-order it online, buy it on site (But glowsticks will get sold out fast on site so be prepared to buy), or bring a previous glowstick from a previous concert. They won't provide any glowsticks.

It might vary though, when I went to the Miku Expo in Chicago a few years ago they passed out free glow sticks. They were just the basic ones with the logos on it though and not the colour changing ones if that’s what you meant.

As much as I like the Niconico Cho Parties, I feel like the quality has been kind of bad lately (Idk which word to describe im sorry) I don't talk about the animation but the music. The old ones feel more like a medley, while the recent years...well, the songs are kind of cut abruptly. But that is just my personal thought of course, I still enjoy them nevertheless.

I'd just like to add some precision concerning glowstick colors (please note my experience only applies to Miku Expo): Len's color is actually yellow, and Rin's orange, but they mostly sing duos anyway. Some colors can also be use to fit the athmosphere to a song. For example, during Bring It On, we use both yellow and blue, as the Kagamine twins. This seems more of a western thing though. White is also vastly used for ballads, but also to honor producers who have sadly passed away. I'm thinking of Samfree and Wowaka here. Speaking of which, Miku Expo Europe 2020 actually gave a tribute to Wowaka, with a different song for each country. RIP Wowaka, we miss you so much !

This was really helpful! I'm going to see Miku Expo in Boston this year and I was really worried about what to do. This'll be my first ever Vocaloid concert so I'm excited!!! Is there any advice that anyone can give me from their first Vocaloid concert or anything like that?

Courtnie Akers i was at Miku expo in Amsterdam this January, it was awesome let me tell you :) If you want a lightstick, buy it as soon as you can because the waiting lines are long and they can be sold out ;/ Oh and the merch is way too expenive;;;;

Same, I attended Miku Expo Amsterdam as well, but needless to say, I didn't pre order merchandise. I was DAMN lucky to have been sitting next to one of the exits after the concert had ended. I ran so hard to the merch booth and as luck would have it, I was able to get a shirt and one of the LAST lightsticks at one of the many merchandise booths. Nearly a second passed after it was almost completely sold out.

Note: I paid 65 euros for it all, so unfortunately pretty expensive...so have some extra cash when buying it at the concert venue. Or just order it from the site. That's the smartest thing to do if you want to be sure you have lightsticks. (I suggest you have 3 AA batteries when going to concert with them, as they don't provide them in the package of the lightstick itself, I can speak out of experience since the person at the concert which was one seat next to me had bought one but couldn't use the lightsticks the whole concert since it doesn't work without batteries inserted, so just a heads up about that)

Reason why I love nicocho: They are made by the fans for the fans. It’s not completely professional, just people who put so much love into vocaloids. For example, if you look at the credits, the motion actors and choreographers are odorites, MMDers are the MMDers you see online, and the tunings of the vocaloids are done by someone on niconico. UTAUs, vocaloids, voiceroids... any voice synthesizer is welcome. It represents the community itself and puts everyone on stage, an element crypton concerts lack. Its just that I love the imperfections. Now please let me go to one....

I once dropped by Nico Nico Chokaigi 2017 and they just had a Vocaloid DJ stage instead of the full concert. I got to wig out to 164p, Cosmo-P, 40m-P, hachiouji-P and so on instead, but no pretty visuals. Just the producer DJing while everyone's jumping around with their lightsticks in a small area of the Makuhari Messe Hall.

Would like the others to be most of the entertainment, instead of Miku Miku Miku.. I kinda know my group who stopped being into it because Miku was constantly the face and entertainment when we would want people like Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito or Gakupo in it. It also sucks the new company seemed to hate bringing in Kaito in general.

I’m really late but anyway, I attended Miku Expo 2020 in London and it’s honestly one of the best concerts I’ve attended (Ahem we don’t talk about my singing tho). 6:20 actually,they don't use their own 3d models. These models are made by fans and people that allow The host of the show to use dkfjkdjs. This miku model is made by TDA and as far i know, it wasnt made for the nico shows
