Maybe its just the aspect of the video, but Morten just has no animation, movement, he looks like he's in pain to move. I saw them in 2010 and prior to that they only came to Canada one other time in 1985, saw them then too. I don't expect a 63 year old man to have the vibe of a 35 year old. I love them to death and will always be a huge fan but just being honest if anyone else is seeing this. I've been watching the great posts of this concert and one of the songs I'm sure he was singing to a backing track because Morten aimed the mic at the audience and he visbly stopped singing but you could hear him.

In the past few years, Morten has been pretty “flat” in affect (my opinion), so it’s nothing new. In the “You have what it takes” video clip from the same concert as this one, Morten spoke to the audience. He said “it’s 2:30 in the morning” for him (in a 62 year-old body), so he’s suffering a bit of jet lag… Likely just not really “tuning in” 100%, but it’s really on him to be prepared. He also admitted to the audience that he forgets lyrics and for that new song he was singing off the teleprompter (again my opinion watching that video that Martin F has kindly put us fans - thanks!) I saw a-ha live on their second of 3 concerts in Los Angeles just 2 days ago, and Morten was lot more “engaged.” He air fist pumped someone in the front of the pit and he had no trouble getting down to his knees to sign some autographs and pick up a fan gift thrown onto the stage at the end of the show.
