...I think it was precious of Morten, to hang onto that little stuffed animal, and the note a girl handed him, throughout his performance! That means the world, to the giver, to give to an Artist!!! It's always sad, to see some other performers throw people's gifts given to them, back into the random audience, it's gut-wrenching, after going through such planning, and heartfelt creativity, to give get close enough to give your favorite performer, a gift they actually take from you!!! Some performers like I say, just pirch them out into the audience!! heartwrenching. But beautiful Morten, kept them!!!! and sang with them!!!

I was there!!! This was at the Diamond Awards Festival, just as Wim said. Morten introduced ‘You are the One’ by telling the whole stadion (I know exactly how large it was because I was in the back) ‘Tonight; you are the One!’ And we went wild. This night is more notorious though because it was the last night ever Roy Orbison appeared on stage, and we idiots did not know who he was, to a point where the organisors asked us to clap and cheer at some random point so they could stick that on for the televised version. About that part, I am now deeply ashamed. Also, I only learnt afterwards that the one single time I’d seen a-ha, ever, they were lip dubbing... So I will go see them in Brussels on 17/11. Pål would never stand to have any of these songs on the setlist again though 😉 We’ll not be the one this year, I suppose... 😂

Love the first two songs soooo much but really not too keen on Cry Wolf, but there are no words to accurately express how much I still love these guys so it's okay!!! Loved them since I was 16. I'm (A LOT!) older now🙊😋♥️ thanks so much for posting this.

Cry Wolf is based on the folk tale. Watch the 1994 Johannesburg performance, about five minutes in.

I find it still curious why they released or even recorded ‘touchy’ theyre such talented song writers , well maybe it was mainly pal back then but he wrote some stunning, deep & thought provoking and catchy anthems and then this?? Strange to me, and then there was ‘you are the one’ I remember at the time thinking what on earth has happened to aha they were so talented and then these two songs were released . Both off an album with some of the best tracks they’ve ever written some of which weren’t released...hey ho.... they went on to wrote even greater songs than any of those on the album in the end so alls good. Tbh i could watch them sing almost anything and still be mesmerised ... hahaha 😆

@@runedennis67 I totally agree with you. At that time I was a bit disappointed with Scoundrel days, to the point it became the only album I bought on LP at that time (as a poor student I had to prioritize). Then the third album came with these two songs, and of course Stay on these roads, as well. At that time I wasn't ready for all those fantastic, dark songs that I love today. As we all know they went in another direction thereafter, and it took me 30 years to get back to them. In retrospect these two songs takes me back to younger, carefree days. I really love them.

Personally I've never forgotten A-ha even if in Italy media rarely broadcast Take On Me and nothing else. It's a shame. They were loved by fans and have produced 11 fantastic albums till now. So what happened and above all why? I follow them thanks to KZbin, few private radios, the Italian A-ha Fan Club but what about the national radio programs, music magazines and so on?

Great for posting this, but I have to say that you are wrong about the location it isn't Italy but is in Antwerp (Belgium) during the Diamond awards festival. A-ha received a diamond record for Touchy....
