I was 15 at the french release of the 1rst album. I bought the album as soon I saw hunting high and low vidéoclip on TV... It touched my heart deeply. But in the 80's we had nothing to see the band members. Only 2 pics in the tape/vynil, and videos. Now in 2024, I see this video, and I can't feel else than sadness when I realize how much I would have liked to see who was a-ha. I mean more pics. More videos. I was so young, 14, in 1985.

I understood it all ( well i come from the exact land as A-ha) he is saying about the troubles and difficulties on being a star, he says that he has difficulties when so many people approach him, and how it’s very hard when he can’t live life as a normal human, it might seem sad but it is what it is to have made one of the best hits in the 80s

The woman says “here says a Norwegian artist why they didn’t sing in ( a place I do t really know)“ Hhe says “ because we were where a little late to our hit song, it wasn’t active at that time,” it was really hard translating this, I’m not used to translating and my brain struggles to remember such detailed sentences he just said it in a very different way for me

In Italy nothing about A-ha on the national radios since the the first '90ies. Young people can't know them and their superb music. There are still A-ha lovers in my counyry but they didn't come back any more. So angry!!!

I think Morten became weary of comments about his looks... The man craved to be known by the depth of his thoughts, by whatever message he was hoping he would be able to share, but the sex symbol image made this deep desire harder for him to achieve. In a way he suffered the 'pretty woman syndrome' ...a woman who is highly wise and competent but at the end, because she is good looking, will never be sure whether she achieved something because she was valued for her competence or actually just because of her looks. A strange case of when beauty is a beast.

He is asked: How others have shaped or influenced you when you're so wanted? (he thinks and makes a funny face😂) He answers: "Of course they have changed me to a certain degree! You only have a certain capacity to meet and talk to other people,but it also turns on the defense mechanisms in me because I hold back,when you're wanted are you more cautious too which is also the worst thing too in its way about it when you meet other people. Sooo,I who translated this to you,I'm a Swedish girl but we Swedes and Norwegians understand each other! This is what it looks in my eyes that Morten is a little bit unhappy that he has become so cautious in the direct meeting when he talks with fans/other people. I've started learning Bokmål so I can understand all the a-ha interviews. I wonder if they realise how inspirational they are to that extent? That someone at 54, starts learning a new language because if them.
