Oh my god!!! We have only just discovered this version of an amazingly beautiful song sung by Aha. We didn't know it even existed. We were on the return journey home from a Festival in Audley House & Gardens grounds in Essex. Soft Cell were headlining and it was our first time seeing them after loving them since we were 17. Marc Almond has an amazingly beautiful voice and this song is class. Aha have covered it fantastically, Morten has an outstandingly pure voice. Simply beautiful

Why the 80s have been ridiculed regarding the quality of music is beyond me....some of the songs are classics, that's why we are still listening to them in 2021....the 80s was a very superficial era but the music has certainly stood the test of time.

i second that, and as an american myself, its downright pathetic all they missed out on, just beccause they held aha to 'take on me' and that was it, this band is so unique and creative and reflected in modern music the spirit of Norway, Iceland, Sweden, and Denmark! when i see and listen to them, it's pure joy, and im so gladly they're norwegian, not tainted by america and american attitudes, norwegian compliments english from england language so beautifully, this band is such JOY

A-ha are great. They didn't reach bands like Duran, but gave their fans a continuous fuel of emotions for years. They live and translate life with their filter. I will always thank this band for all I've got from them.

I am a huge Duran fan ... and a huge a-ha fan. They are completely different bands musically, aesthetically and at the core. Comparing them is silly. It’s like comparing apples and oranges. They are both fruit and in this case the fruit is music.

a great band! from Norge, Norway! Vikinglands! :) i dont think i ever saw morten or any of the band members angry,i dont think i ever saw morten go without a smile for very long, and it was genuine, not fake, unlike american musicians and celebrities, a-ha will come up to YOU, want to get to know you, they care more than most 'bands' do about their fans, you feel apart of them without even knowing them, they're so warm, welcoming, such joy, love, and when morten smiles, its like, hes really aliv

edit away! you do a fantastic job! this band is so great, i always see morten smiling and besides having the highest voice range in the world, 5 octaves or something like this, i just feel all warm inside when i see morten smile, because i know its genuine and that he means it, i dont think ive ever seen him or the other band members mad, unlike bono of U2, morten doesn't have an ego problem, all the guys of aha are like brothers, if you can't see the stage, whats the point, U2 is ridiculous

How I love this video full of smiling images which underline great moments in the band's career but also high human flashes their friendly collaboration have had. i definitely know we will see them again, its very difficult to 'stop' after 25 yrs of being together, actually they didnt, theyre just on a much needed long break, theyre still making music, you dont just stop doing something you've done for a very long time and even more importantly that you love, theyll be back, sharing their music and their love, i dont think ive ever seen morten angry, he's the gentlest soul, his smile is so amazing and one of the warmest smiles i think ive ever seen :)

i totally relate and agree, their last album was fantastic, all their music is, but foot of the mountain,.........................no words, im just disappointed that on their DVD concert and them live in concert, their last song wasn't 'start the simulator' a beautiful song and so fitting for their departure, i just dont get it why it wasnt the last song, also why they didn't make it their BEST video ever-start the simulator - i cry and am moved to deep emotions when i listen to it and love it

Really good job! 😁 Great song, great pics & editing & just so much fun! Love seeing them like this! Went thru lots of changes, but remained true to themselves! Why didn't we see more of them in the states? I'm 61 & remember Take On Me, but nothing else & I'm sure if I'd have seen them, I'd have never forgotten! All 3 are really good looking & so innocent looking in the 80's. Never smoked, drank or did drugs & that's why Morten STILL SOUNDS GREAT...& LOOKS GREAT!
