In some live performances he held this note even longer than in the studio version. Morten is definitely one of the best vocals in the music scene

You captured the content of the lyrics perfectly. Paul wrote the song as an explanation for why the band had been out of the public eye for so long when they played together again for the first time in four years in 1998. I could otherwise see that you caught on the long note, which is in the Guinness Book of Records for the longest note in a Top 40 song in the UK with 20.2 seconds.

Hello. Thanks for listening and reviewing Summer Moved On by A-HA. I have been an A-HA fan for 40 years now and they are a criminally underrated and unappreciated band from Oslo, Norway. A-HA have released 11 albums and one of the best things about A-HA is that their music is always changing and evolving. No two songs sound the same from Take on me (their first single in 1985) to follow up the rockier the sun always shines on tv, ballads hunting high and low, summer moved on etc. A-HA have never released a bad song ever. This is such a classic and beautiful a-ha song. The lead singer (Morten Harket) held that crazy note live quite a few times!! They are incredible musicians. 🎵 Thank you for the reaction.
