Mercedes has been given too many chances and as much as she does feel bad about the things that she has done, it doesn't excuse her. She has been involved in so many deaths in this show directly or indirectly. She has cheated again and again and has been given every opportunity to change and be a better person and she hasn't learned a thing. She needs to get her comeuppance, there's no more redemption or chances left. Same goes for Sienna and a number of others on this show.

Oh my OA seeing these two as a Family again is so unique I do miss Jacqui we really should bring all the McQueen’s back including Michaela. I really love Mercedes and I know what all of you are thinking that Mercedes is a slapper (yes she did cheat on everyone but not Joe or Paul) but I do believe that deep down she’s are a wonderful character and she’s got a caring heart I know what Warren is doing is also wrong but that’s never stopped him from cheating before in the village I actually do think he suits Mercedes better than Sharon or Sienna “Shaw 😏”. I can tell that Felix will probably die in that stunt coming up soon in 2024 (but I do hope James won’t) I did always wish that Felix could do better like Goldie for example and I even do hope Mercedes will at least listen to her Half-Sister for once and be like how she was with Joe. 😟🤞🏻

She was a better character before. At one point she only had an affair or two like Cindy's past, but now she's totally unredeemable just due to how often she has cheated in recent times. Mercedes with Joe was frankly the best version of the character and they ruined her.

@@ChelseyLinden From what I read, that's correct. Jacqui and Mercedes have the same mom and dad. JP and Matthew (as well as all 5 of their other sisters) all have different dads. They also have more half-siblings from their dad's side including Theresa.

She always was we just didn't know it she was in her early 20s and began sleeping with Russ knowing he was with Sophie Burton then When they were offical and even engaged she slept with Warren and Louise burst into her and now late sister double wedding telling everybody she was his alibi Claire thought he was her attacker Tina lied saying Mercedes was with her that night it eventually came out a few months later when she finally admitted the truth she later slept with sister Jacqui boyfriend Tony and got pregnant she had a termination she confessed to Jacqui during estranged half brother Matthew Niall revenge i start to lose track there have been so many affairs marrying Malchacy only to cheat on him with Calvin sister Carmel ex husband and also husband to be as they were getting hitched again after Malchacy died she rebounded by dating Riley Costello and also soon began cheating with his dad as well she lied about being pregnant Myra tripped her to help feign a miscarriage she had said she was 12 weeks along turned out she was actually pregnant 15 weeks so either could of been the father Riley ended up being the dad to Bobby same old story the grass is always greener on the other side she can't resist forbidden fruit

And yet Jacqui always disliked Mercedes for her promiscuous reputation and didn't give the same level of hate towards Mandy or Cindy, although she disliked them both too as Jacqui's husband Rhys cheated on her with Cindy and with Sinead before he died, and Jacqui always saw Mandy as a threat to her and Tony's relationship.

Im not gunna lie that was one good slap 😮 even though mercedes is in a mess and still cheating i can tell it doesnt seem like the same mercedes that used to have scenes with jacqui usually its jacqui throwing the slaps because she was head of the family! But now mercedes is the head of her family you can tell shes stronger and thats why she didnt think twice about throwing that slap. The old mercedes would've just left it if jacqui had said all that, she wouldve been apologising instead
