A lot of people hate Jaehyuk back then because he was chosen to be the final lineup and some of their bias didn't (this is when YG only announce 7-group member Treasure, if you watch YGTB, then you'll understand). Even in the show, Jaehyuk always lack and the slowest member to pickup since he just entered YG 3 months before the show started and he had never been training anywhere before. But I think the reason why YG CEO chose him because he always nailed his part during real performance/stage and he really has good facial n stage presence. In the group also, he's one of the most talkative member and really good in variety show/mcing. Personally I really like Jaehyuk's voice. His voice really suits ballad or sad song since he has such a soft vocal.

A lot of fans of YGTB or other fans of other YG trainees threw A LOT of hate to both Junghwan and Jaehyuk because they made the final line up. It was quite sad, but at the same time understandable because there was so many talented YG trainees. Some that trained for a long time in YG and some who were still too young or need more training. But they should never throw hate or discredit the YG trainees who made it to the final line up. Jaehyuk and Junghwan worked so hard on YGTB too and they really just peaked at the right time in the show. They got noticed more and really shined when they needed to in their performances. So YES Junghwan and Jaehyuk totally deserves their spot in TREASURE.

Nic Reacts yeah Junghwan actually had decent screen time..Jaehyuk too, but not as much as the well known YG trainees. So they got kind of lost in the middle of the show and of course people would have bias for the well known trainees or even the Japanese trainees have a good fan following. So Jaehyuk and Junghwan was kind of forgotten for a little bit, but like I said they just PEAKED at the right time and worked so hard in their performances and got noticed by YG himself. I think they both gained a good amount of fans and support near the end of YGTB. A great underdog story for both of them cuz they were both so unexpected to other YGTB viewers or other YG trainees fans.

Actually it's not cuz Yedam is trainee for so long that's why they're scared of them. Even way back when he was around 11 or 12, when he competed in KPOP STAR S2, even some of older contestants are scared to compete against him. It's cuz he's a music genius. You should check out the songs he produced. He featured Doyoung on many of his songs and Haruto on one

P.S : you can call the series as treasure hunt, since you're finding out more about them, just a suggestion Some info about treasure : -it said in the guide that haruto is 181 cm but that isn't right anymore since he grew 4 cm taller which makes him 185 cm and still growing, it was said in one of treasure map episodes -the fans are called treasure makers but treasure call us 'teumaes' pronounced as 'tume', to make it shorter -uhmm, this is a little sensitive, but I want to say it so you know in advance yoshinori's dad has passed away when he was little -asahi is actually one of the vocal line, from what we see so far on their contents he will be the one that will be in charge of composing songs for the group, strangely asahi along with yoshinori is the only members left that does not have a cover song...

Jaehyuk together with junghwan was once the most hated members before because some believes that some other trainees deserves more the spot to treasure than the two. In terms of talent and trainee years (4-5 trainee months is such a short time compare to other trainess who have 5-7 years). But they proves themeselve now, and they were preeeeetty good and fits the treasure spot.

TREASURE's fandom name is TREASURE MAKERS that is shortened in "teumes". They dropped a new dance performance called "wild for the night" so if you'd like please react to it + if you haven't, can you react to TREASURE MAP too? So you'll get to know more about them and get familiarized with them . Ps 9:22 the one who sang was Hyunsuk himself. I also agree with you about the visual thing, i think there shouldn't be such a "position" when all of them are visuals. Also, regarding survivals, YG has a LONG tradition of it starting from BIGBANG (2006) to now TREASURE, you can say that nowadays k-survivals (mnet's p101, kbs, jyp and other companies) took after YG. Pps Another fun fact is that YG and JYP have a friend-rivals relationship, all their artists met before debuting and went through a kinda of competition regarding singing, dancing and rapping; this Is also part of their tradition since started with their soloists (SE7EN vs RAIN in 2000s) to their boy groups (BIGBANG vs 2PM; WINNER and iKON vs GOT7 and DAY6; TREASURE vs STRAY KIDS).

i think leebeenkneww's guide is a bit better, so i suggest you watch it in your own time or sth. fun fact: almost half of the members compose songs (hyunsuk, junkyu, yedam, asahi, doyoung but yedam and asahi are the ones who show it the most) and most write lyrics too (hyunsuk, yedam, junkyu, asahi, haruto, yoshi, etc im not very sure so lol) but idk if yg will allow them to be the main producers of their songs like they did with their previous bgs (like,, bigbang was the first self-producing kpop grp for goodness sake) but i hope they do. looking forward to more treasure reactions!

Anyway it's okay to watch treasure box but the ending it's can make you confused. I recommend just go with treasure maps, since you watch the guide ( i think you already understand who they are)

A visual in kpop (my opinion) is not being more handsome/pretty than the other members. The reason why only some members are visuals is because they have an atypical face which made people recognise, notice and remember the person well. For example, V and Jin from BTS have a really atypical face, and so you remember them easily. And that doesn’t mean BTS’s members are not handsome. It’s like that for every kpop group. Being a visual is being an atypical face, (ofc handsome face) but not necessarily more handsome than the others. Another exemple: when I first watched a Treasure video, the first member who catches my attention was Junkyu, and not long after, Yedam. Before, I also used to think why are there visuals??? But with years, I understood better. (Sorry if there are mistakes English is not my first language 😅)
