that story with the cowboy hat dude, reminds me of the time I saved a half geared guy from a pack of zombies with my ak from a distance and he didn't know where I was and he ran down the street unable to bandage calling out for help and I went down to help him and the server restarted so I just joined another server all disappointed and when I spawned in I heard voices and he ran into the building I was in and freaked out at first but then I realised it was the same guy, I still have all the video footage from it and have never done anything with it, this video has encouraged me to go ahead and edit it and put it up, mainly because of what happened after we parted ways is the stiwst in the story.

Absolutely loving the videos Jam, You should make more videos like "Last Stand - DayZ Standalone" Where you put flashbacks as you do something badass, similar to when in the video you use the last 4 bullets of your revolver in a final attempt to kill the guy after we see multiple flashbacks. I really can't believe you haven't hit a million yet. Keep it up, at this rate of growth, you will make it to 1 million subscriptions. Also hopefully you make it much farther than that. You deserve it.

ryan kizer without bandits, DayZ will be nothing but a get together game. Literally people would be stacked just for running around. What'll be the point of the game if that happens. Bandits are the reason this game is still going strong. I mean of course there's those dick wads that kill new spawns but thats what causes the game to function the way it does. Think about it, if every single bandit was to be eliminated what would DayZ become? A game where every player just says hi and asks where they're going? Survival of an apocalypse is this games definition and it wouldn't be a normal apocalypse if there weren't any bandits trying to steal everyones stuff.

+Bruhtato Chips i agree it needs some bandits because in a real life situation most folk would turn violent and do anything to survive including killing others however in dayz 99% of people you come across will attack you with no valid reason , you say hi and ask if they're friendly and rarely ever get a reply most i normally get is abuse or people saying they're going to kill me when literally all i have done is say hi ... between the constant kos and the odd hacker it brings the game down a lot . the best way to play it is with a friend its the only way that removes the need to interact with other players however i still do and if someone is nice to me i wont shoot them . what i think would be better is for players to stick to certain areas for pvp and actually abide by those rules . I've had bambi's run up to me and try kill me like what even is the point if people wanna play a kill on sight game they should go play a first person shooter not a survival game .

Similar encounter at Vybor. Was looting through with 3 friends and we notice there's two players near the long barracks. I'm not the shoot on sight kind of guy, I always try and give people a chance. I ran out with no gun, and no gear, so they knew I could be trusted. As I walked up, I saw his buddy run into the shrubs, so I assumed he was either afraid or he didn't know I was there. I asked if he was alone and if he was friendly, and sure shit, he said he was alone and he was friendly. Peak into the window, he had his M4 aimed at the door with a full ghillie. I run back and got my gear, hoping that there wouldn't be a firefight. As we run off, avoiding any deaths, we cross paths with the ghillie guy and his friend, both of their guns holstered. So as we basically warned them, "don't move or we will open fire." They politely complied and we traveled a bit together. We got to know one another, had a nice chat and shared a fireplace. Played with them both for a good hour or two. Next thing you know 'You are Dead' Mother fucker blew all of us up with a grenade.. Rule #1 of DayZ trust no one.

I had a new player flip out the other day cause i didn't kill him immediately after i caught him off guard. Said i was the first person he had ever seen that didn't shoot at him. He wanted to see NWAF so i took him and let him go on with his adventure. Much more challenging and enjoyable to "test the waters first" with a person you run into instead of blazing away at them. If you die you die. It's a game and you bought it to play. So you lost your pretend gear in a pretend zombie world. You'll get it again.
