I love how she gives such great gifts and prizes yet she never brags about it for hours like some other shows do
@ZosiaSamosiaOo10 жыл бұрын
Lol it's all about the ads, companies who want to be associated positively give their products as gifts and just make show hosts repeat the name multiple times so that it stays in your mind. On Ellen the gifts stand there so you have time to watch them for long enough to register your positive association. ;]

It wasn't adrenaline that helped him lift that car off of his grandpa it was love. Love is what makes us stronger. Not fear. Fear makes us weaker and easy pray for others. I remember when I was 12 i got my first kitten and one day he made a mess my mom was furious with him and tried to hurt him but I ran to him just as she went to grab him and I snatched him I got on the hard floor and used my own body as a force field to protect him from my mom's rage my mom hit me kicked me trying to get me to give him up to her but I refused. When she was done I got up and I grabbed her by the neck of her shirt and pulled her to my face until our faces were just two inches apart and I said in an evil threatening way. U can hurt me but u will not hurt my baby, and if u ever try to hurt him again I'll make u wish u were never born.

Bro, it was the adrenaline, I can tell you. I hated this one guy who was about 5' 10 and I was like 5'2 at the time, and we were getting heated in an argument, and then he starts talking major shit about my family, expecially my grandma because he heard my grandmother died 2 months before when I said it for something that happened over the summer in class ( bith of us were 6th grade by the way). So I told him you wanna go, and he said ya, so we decided were fighting after school. So we go outside when the bell rings and him and I throw our bags down, and without saying anything we both start trying to grab eachother. He had longer arms so he kept getting his hands on me instead of the other way around, but I was able to block them. Here's when the adrenaline kicked in, and I don't remember much of it, but I grab him by his shirt with my right hand, and picked him up and threw him hard on the ground. He looked up at me, kinda on the verge of crying, and said, "Dammit" Then walked away, and then I quickly fled after seeing some people watching to make sure I wouldn't get caught by an teacher/principle and get into trouble.

It's not the weights that helped him it's a human reflex that happens when we sense danger our body realeses a chemical which triggers the heart and nerves to send an increased rate of blood flow to the muscles for a short period of time in order to escape it's kind of like the bodies last chance of survival for itself or others in danger

💜 This story fills my heart with joy. Cherish your grandparents because as fun as life is it is also fleeting. My fiance's grandfather has been in the ICU for over 2 months, and there's nothing worse than getting phone call after phone call that he has to undergo another emergency surgery and being told that it is best for the family to come and say their goodbyes. Thank the good Lord our sweet grandfather, who wouldn't hurt a fly, has fight and grit that rivals that of a MMA fighter. My other grandfather is fighting a aggressive form of breast cancer and undergoing chemo treatment at the moment. He too is giving cancer a run for its money and not giving up. Make sure your loved ones know every second of every day just how much you love them.

Please don't turn a beautiful story into a religious debate. Whether you believe in a God or not, just recognize that the kid had a supernatural force of some sort assisting him. 15 year olds don't customarily lift cars. If you don't believe it was God, nobody's forcing you to, but don't spoil the mood
@blakeatlas777710 жыл бұрын
nothing helped him. when deers get scared, they can jump over 10 ft fences like its nothing. humans get that same adrenaline boost when put in scary situations

Tom Hurd It's ignorance, not stupidity. So there is just cause for insults. The information about adrenaline and the human state in times of panic, is available information on the web, so that you can self educate on it. This is an amazing story, but surely, we can explain this scientifically. It is a natural mechanism of human body during dangerous situations. During this time, the adrenal gland creates a sudden burst in adrenaline. This hormone dilates the blood vessels to the muscles, allow the muscle to become extremely powerful for a short period of time to allow us to escape from the danger. The muscle is strong enough to allow the boy in the video to lift up a 2000 pound car. He's also muscular so this is additive. But for an average person, he or she will still be able to lift up a very heavy objects that normally we wont be able to lift like washing machine for example!

***** No not really. There have been stories all the time of people being able to lift cars up to save their loved ones. I'm right here. The same thing happened to my dad and I was able to pick it up. A lot of strong people can lift up small cars off the ground without anything happening at all. My dad would often pick up his small pickup truck off the ground to show off to me. It's one side of the car, and it's not impossible. It's not like he picked up the whole thing and twirled it around his head.
@smexishelly12 жыл бұрын
who in the name of god would dislike this???? Its a remarkable story and fair play to the grandson!
@TG-ru4fd9 жыл бұрын
The human subconscious has no boundaries, it is very much so that your muscles will, under command of the adrenal medulla, receive much more oxygen and blood and be ready to lift extreme weights. The only reason why human beings don't possess this ability to lift extreme weights regularly, is because of the high risk of dislocating joints, breaking bones, or ripping muscle..... that's the reasoning behind it... Natural selection... It only ever happens when your instincts kick in during a life-threatening situation, such as this teen lifting the car off his grandfather.
