I don't entirely remember who the cloaked people are, but it's not rillane's as she wasn't in power yet. This is about the red knight's (Germaine Avadonia) father, with her being the little girl in the song. This song and the other lucifinian trinity songs are prequels to the pride arc

Remember the red armored woman who helped overthrow Riliane in "Daughter of evil?" Allen's adopted family who took him in during "Servant of evil?" Germaine is that red armored woman and Allen's adopted sister. She's the little girl in this song and Leonhart is her adopted father.

You aren't mistaken! In the PV Germaine outfit changed colours, maybe to better symbolize that she followed her father's footsteps in becoming a red cladded warrior who led a civil war.

A war hero/criminal is commiting genocide when he discovers a female baby. He almost kills it, but sees from its clothes it is a noble, so he keeps her for a hostage someday instead. The child believes him her father. 5 years later, a group of people realize who she is and decide to kill this opposing noble child, telling the war criminal to give her to them to kill or perish himself. The war criminal is fighting himself over this decision, when the child picks up a sword and stands in front of him to protect him. This causes him to decide to defend her, be her father, and ultimately redeem himself.

@@PikaPenny17 Actually the cloaked crowd wanted the girl to turn her into an assassin, for reasons tangentially related to the song. However the knight believes they want her dead, hence the lyrics. But yeah, that's pretty much it.
