A hundred years after his transcendence to the otherworld, Goku returns to see what became of the world he called home. Goku came to his descendant, as if summoned by the four star ball. I'd like to believe that Goku granted Jr's wish by saving the life of Pan and his friends. I bet shenron gave Goku a freebie.

Goku is not alive for this living world at this point. But remember..he left with shenron and the dragonballs got merged in his body & it was shown in a way like he became the eternal dragon himself. This means he's immortal now but is not allowed to live in this living realm. But as an eternal being he can go anywhere and anytime.

Explains why he keeps passing through like a ghost, he ain't "dead" but he's not bound to that world anymore, he's far beyond that now. Can go where he wants, when he wants. As he said he'll be there when they really need him but aside from that he won't be bound to that realm anymore

Actually to correct you, Saiyan lifespans are roughly the same as humans, but they look young(30 ish) for most of their lives. Jus like how they stay small and then get a massive growth spurt when they reach teen years. As for Goku, he technically isn't Alive but he's transcendent, a sort of Buddha like existence.

I honestly enjoyed this story of Goku Jr. Unlike his namesake, Goku Jr had to learn courage, while having hidden potential due to his lineage. I even like how after the whole situation with the shadow dragons, everything goes full circle with the dragonballs go back being a legend. I especially like how Goku Jr met Goku and their interaction with each other. This was just a wholesome dragonball adventure that is a great way to end the story of dragonball GT.

The woman that was trying to eat Goku and his friend was from OG Dragon Ball . She tried to eat Goku before when he was in other world his first time when he was a teenager i think . The giant Pig guy was from OG too . Goku beat him as a kid .

Hey, when you guys watch Dragon Ball Super, you should know that there are some characters from Dragon Ball (They also appeared in GT) that make a comeback. However they look very different. In the movie Battle Of Gods this is explained, but in the Dragon Ball Super anime they don't explain the reason for the different look. So if you planning on doing Super next and skipping over the movies so that don't have to see the same story twice, then I will tell you now that they made a wish on the Dragon Balls to be younger, but it sort of backfired in a way.

I mean trunks and goten did the same thing, Thats why I thought people crying in super over cabba and the others was so crazy to me. Full grown much stronger saiyans reaching the level after being tutored by even older stronger members o their race...but goten and trunks it was A okay. Thats just one instance of super though as I do like it but got the amount of flaws and inconsistency is wild.

It's a cool scene but the "Legendary" status of Super Saiyan has been diluted so much it's lost most of it's value. I think if they wanted to keep it something important then they should have kept it something that only Goku managed to attain via his tremendous struggles. It meant something when it was a legend and the supposed lowest cast of it's people attained it. Transformations have gotten to discount bargain bin sales so everyone has one and likely multiple to stack on top of the previous one. It makes me appreciate OG DB even more though since it wasn't orginally built on space alien warrior narrative (regardless of what current day fans try and say).
