Ashton Gleckman is it boring? If I watch this, it’ll be my first Terrence malick film. I’m fine with slow paced, but if it’s uninteresting, it’s like torture to watch.

@@aryavirsangwan6837 I've seen all of Malick's movies accept song to song and Knight of Cups. This one is in my opinion his greatest film. It is the most cohesive, the most beautiful, and the most spiritual film he ever put out. There are no low points, and everything follows the theme of the film so that each individual scene acts as a beautiful mosaic of color, sound, and texture. I don't think you'll be disappointed, and that is with me knowing that half of the people who watch Malick's work tend to loathe the experience. This is one of the first Malick films that I feel could speak to the depths of most members of an audience.

This scene between Franz and the man reciting the tale of Achilles in the underworld has been cut from the final edit. IMDB says the character is Major Schlegel (depicted by Jurgen Prochnow) - does anyone know if there is a director's cut with this scene?
