Guys! Come with me as I hike and fish at Pinecrest Lake in California. There is still some snow and the fish are hungry. Fishing at Pinecrest hasn't been more fun. This is the first stop on the way to the Eastern Sierra Nevadas. This multi-day fishing trip takes us all the way to Bishop California. Come along for all the action and fishing adventures.

What's your fishing setup?? I'm new to fishing and we're going to Pinecrest next week. I just bought an ultra light rod but not sure if thats a good rod for this lake

Yes. UL is what you want. 4# test and a 1000 size reel and SDO SuperSpoons....its alot of fun! Good luck!

I would start 1 hour before sunrise at the inlet and make my way to the dam after sunrise. Good luck!
