- 18th -19th C French Illuminism and theories about Tarot origins
- 19th - 20th C British Illuminism; the Waite/Colman Smith Tarot and the Crowley/Harris Thoth Tarot

This is more rubbish spoken by parrots. Eygtians ideas of today's tarot are impossible the idea from Christian ideas make up Revelations and the characters are Jewish Christian based in parts .I really think it's time to debunk not tarot but so many ideas that hind the fact it's post 1840 and the idea of the devil Eygtians did not recognise a devil only evil ... 1910 is when the idea took off. tools for fools .

Finally, a scholarly and in-depth exploration of the tarot's history. Every other video I've found is so steeped in the occult side of things that they wholly neglect looking into the history of the pack, and none of them even take the time to critically examine those occult elements. I enjoyed that. I knew much already. I have many decks. And I can only read one at a time. I was born on April fool’s day and on Pinterest I collect only the fool card. I have collected so many hundreds. I read the Rider Waite. It is impressed on my subconscious. When I read an ordinary deck of playing cards I see PCS’s depictions. This is true for all tarot decks that I have. I could read the cards the first time I saw them. That was over fifty years ago. I do call myself an entertainer when I read. Thank you, Colin. Excellent work Mr. Low! I received my first deck about 20 years ago from my mother, which was the Waite/Smith deck. I wasn’t extremely consistent with my readings until about six years ago. Now I have about 25 decks. “Oracle” as well as (and mostly) tarot. I’ve heard some readers say that there are secret meanings in some of the images and colors on the Waite smith deck. I would love a video, that takes a deeper look into the intuitive meanings behind these symbols.
