Always love your episodes and the wealth of knowledge you each have. Really struggled with the talking over one another though. Felt a little for the guest, she got cut off so many times

SH in popular culture, from AI: Susanna Horenbout and John Parker series by Michelle Diener. This historical mystery series follows Susanna Horenbout, an artist to King Henry VIII, and John Parker, the Keeper of the King's Crossbows, as they navigate the dangers and intrigues of the Tudor court. This is a decently written series, and first introduced me to Susannah.

Love you ladies so much! This was fascinating and very timely as I am just preparing a talk on Tudor portraits for my U3A Art Appreciation group. One thing that occurred to me is that the delicately featured lady in the Holbein sketch doesn't look like snub-nosed lady in the 1534 miniature by Holbein ? In the Kunsthistorisches Museum and wearing a white hat. Any comments?

I need visuals ... link to drawing? Link to journal article? I have kind of a hard time understanding the conversation without any visual references.

I often wonder if women did a lot of art and were just not acknowledged. Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart had a sister Maria Anna Mozart wrote music and was a music teacher.

I think Hans Holbein is underrated.

I agree because until now we didn’t know it was Catherine of Aragon who brought him to #Tudor England. Don’t forget where you heard this first 😊
