''am I me'' part is totally relatable. I am glad that I found someone who feels the same😃. Ever since I was a teenager, I've always had that moment.
@salmanajam16628 ай бұрын
omg. finally someone else who disassociates like that too!! I’ve been doing it for as long as I can remember and whenever I tell my mom she’s like “what are you talking about”😫
@zsb998 ай бұрын
"am i me" is a question i ask myself often. like i'm a person. its even funnier when you have a younger sibling and realise that they are like an actual person and you are just a side character in their lives because growing up yall did everything together and now theyre having their own experiences and you are not them. lol delulu hour for me too i guess.

My mind was absolutely blown when I heard Destiny Rogers playing in your car... WOW I discovered Destiny a few years ago and instantly loved her music. The song you were playing is so good. I don't think I've ever come across another person who knew who she was, let alone gave her the praise she deserves like you did. What a time to be alive...

I’m a really big fan of you Caroline but please please don’t put out that it’s not “healthy” to be on medication because for some people they truly do need it to be able to function and to look at it in that light is a bit silly not at all trying to say anything bad just wanted to put it out there that it’s so brave for people to take medication there’s so much stigma around it and it’s not right to say it’s not “healthy” because peoples brains with a serious mental health disorder are literally different to a regular persons brain and ssri medication can give people the serotonin that there brain doesn’t have which in turn is part of the reason that the suffer in the first place i totally understand if it’s mild anxiety or depression that there’s a lot to learn and try on a cbt level and to not just go straight on medication but truly for a lot of people with serious mental health problems they struggle to even get up much less putting these things in to please hence why medication for them is life changing ❤
@Visrosenik7 ай бұрын
As someone studying psychology at university, I completely agree. I used to be very anti medication, but for some people, when the case is severe or it is damaging your ability to function in your day to day life, medication can actually be helpful when used correctly.
@eliannabrucato43527 ай бұрын
i agree some of my friends have to take medication because some daily tasks are hard and complicated for them
@caitlinmoyer56637 ай бұрын
I’m not going to be shy about this because we need to break this stigma and quite frankly this is reality for me and thousands of others. Taking medication helped me get to a better place with my depression and anxiety. Without it, I don’t know where I’d be today. I’m actually here today able to type this. To me, actually being here is healthier than not. And honestly, there are people I know that would actually be here today if they were on medication. I was able to start getting better, and am mentally more healthy than I ever was. Do whatever is the healthiest for you. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad or less than because of that. If you don’t understand why psych meditation is helpful, please take an abnormal psychology class and get educated

Yes, totally this. As someone who was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, that book makes me uneasy. I flipped through it in the bookstore and the argument seems to be that young people receive diagnoses and medication way too much. “Most don’t have disorders, just problems.” Again, I haven’t read it totally so I don’t have the full picture. But if the whole thing is that dismissive I really don’t like that kind of messaging. It reminds me of the harmful myth that neurodivergence is over-diagnosed, when it’s actually under-diagnosed. And Caro did not word that in the best way, IMO. Medication isn’t the best for some but it can really change people’s lives for the better, and isn’t “less healthy.”
@andreachan11437 ай бұрын
I love Caroline’s videos and hearing her thoughts+experiences. However, it did also make me uncomfortable hearing medication being talked about as not “healthy”. Mental health is truly a very complex and personal topic, especially for those who struggle & brain’s operate a little differently than others. I love hearing what Caroline does for her own well-being, but I think generalizing that medication as not as healthy might be true for her, but not often the case for others. Mental health struggles are different for everyone, and I’d be cautious to mention what’s healthy or not healthy, without also recognizing that.

Glacier Rec!! The sunrise hike on the "Going-To-The-Sun-Road" is MAGICAL. You have to wake up very early for it (the less fun part), but it's SO worth it. Also many white water rafting places around and it was amazing!! Have the best time Caro
@EllieMaloney-ut8lp8 ай бұрын
My family went to glacier a few years ago, and I would def recommend doing going-to-the-sun road! It’s amazing views! I’m sure you’ll get lots of things saying to do that because it’s one of the main attractions there, but I have some tips for it! :) idk if it’s still like this, but when we went it was like a raffle if you could get a ticket for that road. They only let a certain amount of people go on it, so it was a gamble if we could get tickets. We never did get tickets, even though multiple of us for every day until the actual day tried to get a ticket for the car. In the end we met someone by our Airbnb who was a local and consistently went to shoot photography there. He told us that if you get there before a certain time (I think it was 6am), you don’t have to ticket for the road. Once you’re on the road even if you don’t have a ticket you’re there for the day! You just need the ticket once you get there past 6am. It was actually a really cool experience, we got to see the sun rise in the park, as well as the sunset! 😊 Hope you and your family have a fantastic trip! 🤗
