Man that pep talk at the end really spoke to me. I'm currently 20 and I'm about to finish my 2 year AS degree in Computer Science. Life is stressful to think about sometimes. I grew up not having much and my mom struggling to support me and my sister but now I live with my dad (still not the best financial situation but I'm very grateful). 10 Years ago we were homeless and now we have a small mobile home. I have my very own nb miata roadster and I love it to death! My girl just left for the airforce which has bummed me out a bit but I have strong faith in us. One thing I get quite concerned about is my future. I just want to be financially stable and enjoy life with my family. Right now things are tough, school is hard and money is tight and somedays it feels like I'm not moving at all but seeing how far you've come in just 10 years gives me a ton of hope and faith Albo : ). I really hope you're able to make it full time on youtube this year and keep pushing!

EK9! Having driven the FK8, it is an amazing vehicle and far more practical, but for that special weekend and track day car, the EK9 has been proven time and time again that it has the potential to compete reliably with the big dogs. Simple and effective!

If i had the resources, I'd pick an EK9 then do a K-swap + Turbo + sequential manual AWD. With proper suspension upgrades 240-280whp should be enough for overheat-free track days.

The EK9 doesn't do too much. That's why I like it. It looks simple, not as fast as the FK8 but still delivers power, not too much power where it's illegal. Ur not peacocking with its aesthetic, it's just looks fun for some reason even though the other Type R's are a lot faster

There was a spoon tuned and badged s2000 near me here in Australia around 15+ years ago. People from every car circle would talk about it, even the V8 muscle car guys would say 'have you seen the silver spoon' most had never heard of any JDM tuners but everyone knew that Spoon car!

Quick question about Spoon carbon hoods. I noticed they don't use hood pins like many other people with carbon hoods of other makers. Did Spoon make their hood latch strong like factory? The reason is for safety due to the lightness of the carbon hood. Air that possibly gets under it can break the hood latch at high speeds causing the hood to fly back into the windshield. It obviously looks better, but just a safety concern for track use.

Yeah, they fixed the new R's body kit. :) (There's a few of those in my town in America and I kinda like em, especially for a front wheel drive car, but the styling excesses are... a bit much. This both looks racier and cleaner. (And I'd rather have a carmaker go too far once in a while than be too boring, but yeah, the ones in town seem just too much. :) (I like the interiors, though:that counts for a lot with me.)
