Good luck! I felt the same way about a boy I liked and I confessed to him on Dec 19 of 2019! I never confessed to anyone I liked before so it was pretty nerve racking. He ended up liking me back yet he had a bad relationship so we didn't get together and just stayed as friends. Over the years, we gotten more closer and he's more open about the idea of dating! there was this girl that i got turned down by. we knew each other for about 3 months, she said that she wasn't ready for a relationship and she would prefer if we stayed friends. it really pains me cause she's such a lovely and caring person, being around her was so comforting and enjoyable. she loves drawing genshin characters and i've always adored that artistic side of hers. we would always laugh and talk about genshin together, sometimes play ensemble stars (she's a god at it), and i remember we'd watch mob psycho season 3 weekly. after the rejection, we kinda grew a bit distant but slowly but surely we started talking again. i'd be lying if i say i dont miss those days.

I did everything I was supposed to do, I did everything to make sure she was comfortable, felt loved, I comforted her about her insecurities saying they may be flaws in your eyes but in mine they make you who you are, someone I love, I always asked for consent before making a move, I was friends with her friends without getting along TOO much or TOO less, I complimented her daily for a year, all for her to say "Look I'm going to be honest with you", That sentence hurt me the most, knowing she had been only leading me on out of pity for the last month in the relationship, Full of rage and words I want to say to her but I can't without making her feel worse about the break up, I keep it all bottled up inside and she never heard any of it, how much I loved her, how much I wanted her to love me, and how much I wanted her to be okay, god I just wish I could have her back, I'd do anything to be with her again. To be held within her arms once more just once, I can't go back to days without her and her comforting hugs, her whispering I love you in my ear while I hug her then smiling out of embarrassment when she realized what she had just said, God I'd give anything she'd want to be with her again, but I guess since I'm not the thing she wants or person, I'm just trash on the crosswalk with no purpose.

okay, i feel like i need to put and share this here. I have someone on our group of friends, there's only 3 of us girl and the rest are boys. My other 1 friend girl is already taken except from me and the other one, So this guy he is soo nice, literally. Everytime i asks for help he is always there. Whenever we are on discord with our friends we are most of the time the only ones being left so we had the time to spend time together, we had so much in common. I didn't realize it sooner that i already fallen for him. Everytime i hear his laugh and seeing him smile or just simply talking to him i can't help it my heart is always getting crazy haha. I did tell it to my other friend the one who's alr taken then i found out from her that.... he likes my other friend. Tbh it hurt me like a lot. Even the song they're playing coincidently relate of how heartbroken i was but it's better that i know atleast she told me. Then i also realized that my friend that he likes also like someone else, the one she likes is also one of our friends. So yea it's a chain of love i guess but that friend of mine was really nice, she told him confronting him that she already love someone else and told him that he should go with me instead. i haven't confessed to him yet tbh he's 2 years younger than me and i kinda want to move on cuz i feel that he doesn't want me at all.
